Riti Riwaj (Beta) for Android
Too many errors, you guys seriously need to work on this
Nice. Make it access in offline too. Nice concept .
Nice app. Liked it..
You have a good team and a well-designed app, but I am not a big fan of the concept. Even within the same community, different people have different ways of celebrating festivals. There is no such thing as a "correct" way to celebrate a festival like, let's say, Maghe Sankranti. You have included an option to select one's caste/creed, but even within the same group -- for instance, Brahmins -- it may be different. I may celebrate certain festivals in a slightly different way than the Brahmin across the street, let alone the Brahmin across the country. Now, it is not within my rights to say my way is correct and his incorrect, because I am not an authority on the subject, and neither is anyone else, to be honest. And what about regional festivals and jatras? How big will it have to be before you include it on the app? What if only a certain minority in a small region of Nepal celebrate it? Will you include Christian and Muslim festivals? How about Buddhist traditions? So, basically, the app aspires to impose a certain way of celebrating festivals on everybody -- and I feel this is quite beyond what an Android app can achieve. I'd be very interested in what you think about this.
This app is great for people who want to know about their culture.
Loved the concept. But one thing this app must also give the logic behind doing puja and other religious fest. If people understands why they doing puja or other things, then they could follow it without any fear.Great work
Great concept. Really useful and easy to work with. Congratulations! Loading of home page was a little slow otherwise everything was spot on.
