אלישמע

מושב אלישמע ממוקם בין הערים פתח תקווה לכפר סבא, מזרחית להוד השרון. המושב הוקם בשנת 1951 על ידי קבוצת עולים מלוב ונקרא בתחילה מזרח ירקונה, ומיד לאחר מכן ניתן לו על ידי הסוכנות היהודית השם אלישמע על שם אלישמע בן עמיהוד נשיא שבט אפרים. מושב אלישמע משתרע על פני שטח של כ 2,300 דונם והוא מונה כיום כ- 1,200 נפש. ענפי המשק העיקריים באלישמע הם גידולי תבואה, ירקות, הדרים, פרחים לול ורפת. הגרעין הראשון של התושבים מנה 75 משפחות אשר עלו ארצה מלוב בשנת 1949, שוכנו במעברות בישוב בית-ליד ואח"כ בכפר-סבא הערבית, עד לעליה על הקרקע שבה עומד כיום הישוב. בשנים הראשונות התגוררו התושבים בפחונים ללא חשמל ומים, ללא כבישים ובוץ מסביב. בחורף של שנת 1953 הוצף הישוב מהגשמים העזים הוואדי (נחל קנה) עלה על גדותיו והמושב נותק למספר ימים. עם הקמת הישוב התפרנסו התושבים ממשק חי וחקלאות שרובה גידולי שדה וכותנה. הפרדסים המשותפים הקיפו את המושב והפכו לחלק בלתי ניפרד מהנוף המקומי שמאפיין את השרון כולו. עם השנים קם דור חדש של בנים ממשיכים אשר הקימו את ביתם בנחלות ההורים. ביוזמה מבורכת, ותוך דבקות עיקשת במטרה, של דור המייסדים, נסללו כבישים בישוב, הוצבו עמודי תאורה ונשתלו שדרות עצים לאורך הכביש המרכזי. בשנת 1998 הוקמה ההרחבה ו- 80 בתי אב נוספים שולבו בשטח הישוב בשלושה מוקדים שונים. היום מונה המושב כ 290 משפחות, עשרות ילדים ובני נוער. המושב משנה את פניו ואנו רואים פינות חמד עם פרחים וירק הולכות וצומחות, גן שבעת המינים נשתל בט"ו בשבט שעבר, חורשת העצים בלב הישוב מרחיבה את הלב. גני משחקים, מועדון גמלאים, פעילויות חוגים לילדים ונוער, אירועי תרבות וחגים נחגגים, פעילויות תנועת הנוער והספורט מוסיפים תוכן איכות חיים ושמחה לכולם. בשנה הקרובה מתוכננות השקעות ופיתוח נוספים אשר יתנו תנופה נוספת למקום.
