Proxy Pass – Digital Presence

Proxy is your digital presence in the physical world.

Using Bluetooth low energy technology, Proxy turns your phone into a personal transponder that emits a secure signal, allowing nearby people and objects to detect your presence and interact with you, with your permission.

Some of the things you can do with Proxy:

- Unlock Proxy-enabled doors simply by walking up.
- Check-in at events without pulling your wallet or phone out of your pocket.
- Stay on top of your busy schedule by keeping track of people you interact with.

Proxy uses Bluetooth low energy technology, so it won't drain your battery.

Permissions:

- Bluetooth is required for much of this app's functionality.
- Location is required to be able to detect nearby Bluetooth devices.
- External storage is required to be able to select photos from your gallery.
- Access to your accounts is required to create and manage your Proxy account; we do not do anything with your other accounts, but Android does not have a more fine-grained permission.
