NetPatch Firewall for Android
It Leaks really bad. details of bandwidth consumption by each app too would have been really helpful
Reminds me of NetGuard no-root firewall. Right after I said "hopefully no ads" the author said "there will never be any ads." So I say the same to you - hopefully no forced ads and you keep in app purchases only. Good luck. Nice firewall. 5/5
Running Nougat. Noticed it closes itself randomly and you have to turn it back on. All these no root firewalls are a joke. I have now gone thru them all and none work.
The best firewall app I ever used. I have tested many apps as I am an app beta tester and none have the skills of this amazing app. I suggest to all users get this one and as well support the development.
It would be nice to have option to block all apps for certain connection type (mobile internet) at once and not separate. Overall I adore this firewall.
After switching off wi-fi it still let trough connections via LTE - and in the log those are stated as wi-fi connections (happens only sometimes, but it is unclear why). Besides this bug it is promising. Also users should be warned to put this on whitelist for battery optimization, the system could shut this down otherwise. No killer/greenify apps on my phone, But discovered (maybe unrelated) that one wifi-widget working fine under android 6.x got a problem under 7.0 as well - it randomly displayed valid linkspeed and wifi-connecting' state when wifi is working. Sadly my phone is not rooted so I cannot give logcat or something else to help. Thanks for replying - that is rare on google play.
Leaks ipv6? Even though ipv6 is set to blocked? Otherwise great app with finegrained control
I really like this one, particularly that it does system apps. My one issue I discovered was that my phone would not go to sleep, & though it said "Android System" was the cause, once I tried a different firewall my phone was then able to sleep.
Thank you for this amazing. I didn't even believe at first that any app without root access would be able to do this. It's wonderful. I have suggestion though. Please add widgets support to quickly enable or disable firewall.
It's like Netguard and DNS66 combined. Exactly what I wanted since there is no root available yet for my phone yet but with Netpatch I don't really have a reason to root now. Great work. I had to purchase this.
It's easy to use and user-friendly also but not working properly as even after blocking imo, I'm still receiving calls from it.
Does not auto start on boot. Submit bug fails
Perfect firewall. I recommend it for all interested users.
This is the best non root firewall...
iwant this app plz dicount
Can't submit bug reports anymore?
Great and reliable. Would be nice to have custom rules per application
Please add support for AEAD encryption! It is much safer!
Nice
VPN applications running alongside hit-and-miss Play Store proxies .... banking-encryption-standards, digital networking applied science, IPsec, Hypertext, Tunneling, C.A.s, mobile browser debugging ...(!)... Users could stand to train themselves and others with a more detailed field guide · tech manual · user instructions (!) not just whatever is available through whoever's online. Solid developer & no-root-firewall build. ????
very good ... some functions could be added but this firewall is already powerful !
Good vpn firewall. Can you add a working default policy for downloaded apps (like the default policy for system apps). And can the logs & blocked packets have a filter/search function to assist with searching through long log files. Keep up the good work.
The only two apps I've putting attention, Netpatch and Netguard Edit: Well responsive Developer, personally satisfied with the progress of this app and currently waiting for new updates, idea: per application accessible to 4g / 3g internet connection, well done Dev!
It keeps on crashing on my ZTE blade vec 4 for no reason.??
Good app. But I wish if this app can block ads in installed apps
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ F I V E S T A R S ! ! ! Beautifully done guys, bravo!
useful and nice approach
I'm still looking through all the options. but it seems like this is the firewall i was always looking for
Amazing No-root firewall supporting SS????
The Boss of all firewalls!
Perfect and friendly
great work!
Lol
Does not work properly
Quite awesome.
You can use the rules to use it as an ad blocker too
I've been using LostNet Firewall for a while now and have been looking for a newer firewall since LostNet hasn't been updated for some time. I'm pleasantly impressed by NetPatch Firewall after installing the free version. It is light and does its job well. It is easy to configure and set the type of internet conectivity (mobile or wifi) for each app. One feature that I miss is that LostNet in its free version allows me to see which countries are being connected by which app and in the process allows me to block certain countries which I don't want my phone to connect to. Perhaps this feature ia available in the premium version of NetPatch. In brief, I will follow NetPatch closely as it has lots of potential and it has more control than LostNet in that you can block IP addresses directly.
There are many free firewall applications, some of them are open source. You just made a fork and start selling it, no respect to the user at all.
It's confusing in configuration need tutorial or something :)

Technically, it is not a firewall, however it is useful for assigning most traffic on your Android. I like the categorized and summarized Logs. The logs though, it would be very handy with an in app query for them, and forensic detail would really catch my eye. BOTTOM LINE》》Its user friendly, light weight, not too bad on battery, easy to get the hang of, has an awesome f earure for screen off traffic control. Worth 5 bucks. Now the cons; THIS DOES NOT HAVE HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention Security) or any behavioral engine at all I'm aware of... NOTICE TO DEVELOPER(S): ID pay at minimum $50USD up front with another 50 annually for a firewall, like they once had been in the days security wasn't sugar coated, a firewall with HIPS foundation. (I'd even pay in advance, I'm serious). I'd pay a lot more both up front and anually or even in advamce for something close to what Emsisoft gave up (those jerks), Online Armor, with HIPS.
