My Dressing - Fashion closet

I prefer this app compared to other closet organization apps for its minimalist interface and finger-tracing cropping function. HOWEVER, sub-categories should not be required for putting something in a category, and you should be able to create new categories from the screen after cropping an outfit. Also, there should be a option to add tags to each entry and a search function to search by tags. Tapping the "Clothes" tab should also reset the type sort filter.

I could not access pictures on my laptop, only on my phone.The backup issues were concerning. I thought that it would help if I paid for the upgrade. I also wrote an email. I never got a response back. Judging by the other reviews, it looks like I am not the only one who has had these issues. I can't believe that a company would simply ignore questions. Switched to Your Closet. Looking at their reviews, they respond to questions from their customers. It also has good info about backing up and access. Whew.

Loved everything about this app except the fact that you cannot back up your items or outfits even though they claim it has the backup feature. It does have the backup feature but it does not work. When I click on backup nothing happens and after 5 minutes it says connection timed out. I have a perfectly good internet/mobile connection and I don't have any trouble using any other apps! After doing tons of work and taking many many photos I was unable to get my photos or outfits into this app after replacing my phone. I wrote several emails asking for help or a fix for this issue and did not receive a response.

The app is better than most of the similar apps in market (design, cropping). BUT you can't back up your data! I just paid 4€ for synchronization function. That doesn't work either. Judging from all the ratings, contacting the developers team won't change anything either. Such a waste of money and time...

I like the concept and the app functions well. I catalog my clothes and make my outfits for the week so I'm not trying to figure out what's in my closet while I'm running late for work. I keep the previous weeks so I don't repeat the same outfits week after week. I think there could be some improvements to make the app more advanced and appealing. The clipping feature could be advanced. When making outfits, the clothing items I'm selecting from are tiny and are hard to distinguish items that look similar. Appearance of the app is pretty basic.

Liked that I can crop photos of my apparel and then make little outfit sheets. However, I wish there were more ways to sort individual items into multiple categories and not just outfits (ex. One skirt is good for fall and spring, is good for weekend wear, and fits into a goth section of my wardrobe). I want to be able to sort by tag but currently there is no way to do that as far as I can see. Otherwise I like it a lot and it's helping me craft my capsule wardrobes.

I like this and always come back to this app when it comes to closet organising. This app will be 5 stat if the app had zoom-in bubble pop when cropping as my phone screen isn't big and I want to crop photos without going over my clothes. Also edit the crop after validation would be nice [edit on 3 Dec 2017] I am trying to do a backup but it seams to be like not working and I tried to search online but it came up that the developer is gone judging by the fact the official website is under pending deletion.... Don't want to repeat the cropping process when I get new phone and other apps always have extra that I don't need so please comeback

Fun, easy to use, very helpful when you need to mix and match and create new outfits out of old stuff. I didn't realize I had so much clothes and now I actually wear everything. Also helps me see what items I need to buy to add to my wardrobe and it saves so much time when I have no idea what to wear!

Not sure if the developer is maintaining this as much as they should be. The app itself is pretty good, but rigid in context. You can't tag where you are storing your items, and there is no search, just filtering. The biggest issue is that all forms of backup, restore, or syncing, is broken, even with the premium purchase (I requested a refund from Google). Use Helium to backup this app and restore it to any Android device, regardless of Google or My Dressing account.

Great for deciding outfits for work while watching TV and a godsend for shopping. Love it! However, would be great if anyone actually read and acted on the suggested improvements in the in-app log. DO NOT pay for the premium version. Back ups do not work and they don't respond to messages.

Wow, I wish I had this app earlier. Im able to see all my pieces while laying in bed ir when I'm out shopping. Now there's no repeat buying and my wardrobe is more organized. I do wish it allowed you to select the colors when you are entering in new pieces but overall, you cannot go wrong with this app.

I used this to create a wardrobe capsule for an upcoming trip. The app features could use considerable improvement. I paid $3.99 for the syncing feature when changing phones, and it was a waste of money because nothing transferred over. I contacted the developers about it several times over the course of a few months, but never received a response...

I used to love this app until I got a new phone and found out that it is impossible to transfer your wardrobe to the new device. It is also impossible to get any sort of help our tech support. No responses to postings are emails. No instructions anywhere. I went to the cell phone provider for Tech help and they spent half an hour and could not figure out how to do it. The app is easy to use until you need something.

It is easy and helpful. However, I change phones every year. I paid to be able to login from a new device and back up my photos and outfits. This hasn't worked ONCE. This is my last time trying. And I have never been able to get any response from the makers on the issue. I'll find another app.

I bought the paid version in order to save all of the hours I put into added items and when I try to use this feature, the program stops working. I had more fun taking pictures of completed outfits and saving them to the app as if they were an item.

Love it! The only thing is I wish they would add a feature where it would tell me which pieces I use the least/don't use. So this way I could keep pieces from getting forgotten about, or help me get rid of them to make room for the ones I do use.

Material design, online sync. My dreams of the best digital closet so had come true. I wiped my phone without having saved any of my pics, I opened the app logged in and it restored all my clothes. I purchased the premium version instantly. It saved me hours of hard labour.

App was great until I needed to use it on a different phone. Backup and sync won't work at all. So now I'll have to redo everything but on a different app that can be backed up. This was money wasted and Google won't refund you. Also from reading other reviews the app developer won't respond to emails. If you ever plan on getting a different phone don't waste your time or money on this app.

this is one of the most useful apps on my phone. i started to clean my wardrope and get into a capsule-wardrobe-ish thing a year ago. i cleaned very well, kept up the cleaning in the shoes sections and etc. i started buying more quality things with a higher price but it is definitely worth it. the thing is, you can get into the mood where you just moan and stand in front of your closets "i have nothing to wear" and can't just compose outfits. thanks to this app, i can see what i have, what can i wear for certain moods. it is pure genius! plus it saved me money by helping me shop smart

At first i loved the idea, but een after paying synchronisation never worked for me and with every device I got I had to start my photos from scratch. It is very annoying and takes a lit of time! My messages about bugs with synchronisation have never been answered. I have now to switch to another app which does the same, but is able to synchronise and backup.

I like the app, but the sync option isn't working! I need it to work because I use the app in 2 different cellphones and I need it synched. Please solve this because the only reason I went premium was because of the sync option which it ISN'T working. If I don't get it to work, I will ask a refund

Not as flexible or powerful or intuitive as other free alternatives. You can back up and crop the backgrounds, but you can't add sub-categories or detailed notes. Going with different app.

I used this app last year and everything was great but now today when I reinstalled it and I take a photo of my outfit it gives me an alert that I need to create an item first. I press okay and then it goes back to the main screen what's the deal?

It can do everything I want it to except one thing, I wish it would pick out my outfit for me. But otherwise it is a amazing app and u should get it.

Now i can worry about other things, but not what I'm going to wear! I can remember what looked good with what so that i can spend less precious time in front of the mirror. Very useful.

The app is great if you don't want it to back up anything you add to it and do not want to be able to transfer your data to another phone. DO NOT pay for it. I have reached out to their support team numerous times and have NEVER heard anything back.

Great app, aside from major issues with backup and sync ("invalid session token" notice when I try to backup, even though I paid for premium, and sync never works), and issues with inaccurate background colors (why no BASIC BLACK?) even when you purchase the whole color pack, and inability to assign outfits to more than one season...okay, so not a perfect app. But it does the job I want it to do. But the constant "rate this app" nag every time it loads is super, super annoying. I rated the app in the app store and it STILL nags for a rating every time I open it. Would have given it 2 or even 3 stars, but the irritating nag drops my rating down to 1 star.

Was great. Now it changes the background color of garments. You can't resize in collection mode. Deleted items reappear. Would like to have multiple closets, sort by background color, arrange order of garments

Have been trying to contact support for months about syncing and restore even though i have a premium account. Still doesnt work even after the update and wont let me even log in to another device.

It not only helps you organize your closet, it's a great way to see what you have. Making outfits is fun and it's like shopping in your own closet!

Its great. I found out i had to go on a trip last minute and this really helped me organize things and find out what i needed to get.

Great app but two major annoyances...1. Had to get my phone repaired so I did the whole back up restore deal, and now it just shows blank boxes where the pictures were (lost well over 200 pictured items). 2. Contacted support numerous times and never got any response...with that said, this is world's greatest closet app if you plan on your phone lasting for infinity years.

I found this app really simple to use- photos uploaded from camera scroll no problem, cropping and editing photos was straightforward and it helps you to organise your closet, come up with new outfits and see other useful info like brands, cost and when you bought things. **update** Although I liked the app at first, it is impossible to sync with other devices. I paid for the upgrade, which was a waste of money. The upgrade didn't work, and there was zero support from the app creator(s), despite the fact that I tried to contact them through Play Store, email, and facebook- that was a waste of $5! In short, the initial free app is fine, but don't pay for the upgrade and don't expect to be able to sync between devices. Disappointing.

I purchased the premium version so i can have it on more then one device and it keeps crashing when i try to sync it with another device. I have reported Thai several times and they still haven't fixed it!

I even purchased the Premium version, still was unable to restore my closet to new phone. I wasted my money and time. Bunch of swindlers

Handy app, but having seen the competition it would be nice to have a few more features! Like being able to tag items e.g. by colour, calendar view so you can plan ahead, and having an (optional) auto crop option, which looks like it would give a more accurate crop than a finger on a smartphone screen. Also having a laptop/ desktop-friendly version would be useful, as at the moment it only seems to be accessible by smartphone or tablet. That said, it's been lots of fun cataloging my wardrobe and has made creating outfits much simpler!

Updated review: paid for the Premium version so I could sync or backup. Doesn't work!! Waste of money.
