‘The Moment’ is an application where only creative and rare photographs are carefully selected. Dong-A Ilbo was founded in 1920 and has been the leading newspaper in Korea for the past 90 years. Photographs taken by the photo journalists at the site of the Dong-A Media Group’s newspaper, magazine and Sports Dong-A can be found in this application. Through ‘The Moment’, you will be able to relive the ‘vivid moments of today’ and recollect the ‘reminiscences of the past.’

One ‘picture of the day’ will be available without charge everyday. The app will also service ‘work tips’ such as the full description of the photograph, the type of camera used, and the camerawork that would enhance your ability to explore the world of photography at a higher level. The paid gallery service features various sites of major incidents and events domestic and international, sites of the division of the Korean peninsula, Korean culture, sports, fashion, entertainment, and domestic and overseas trips that are available in a panoramic fashion. ‘The Moment’ is a global content serviced in Korean, English and Japanese.

There is an adage saying “A picture is worth thousand words.” It refers to the idea that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image. Time passes by but the photographs stay with us forever. At ‘The Moment’, we sincerely wish you can encounter your ‘moment.’

-At the ‘Daily Photo’ which is the free photograph section, one best visually outstanding image will be selected and be available at no cost.
-Not just today’s best photograph, but the best photographs for the whole past month will be available without any additional fee.
-Photographs available at the ‘Daily Photo’ zone can be saved for SNS services such as facebook and twitter, as well as for the usages in personal blogs and e-mails.


@ Paid Service
-In commemorating the launching of "The Moment App" for Android, paid-service gallery will be available for free of charge temporarily.
-At the Paid Service gallery, various 20 to 30 photographs of the site will be grouped under each topic.
-Ten galleries will be provided regardless of the time of the payment, and 1 gallery will be automatically updated every week.
-You will be able to experience the photographs that are rich in news, color, and information with just one time payment for life.
