We use this app for our dog daycare and are going to be very sad to let it go now that we are looking to do overnight care. We wish we could convince you all to make a dog app with just a few tweaks and you'd have access to a whole new market!

Wish I could view a single feed for all children. Also wish the notifications would be consolidated when my phone has been off or otherwise disconnected from the internet for hours. On a busy day, I have to wait as each individual update causes a notification noise, when only one ding would be sufficient.

We use Brightwheel at our child care center and it is wonderful. The parents love getting real time updates of their children throughout the day. The teachers like the ease of the program and that they don't have to fill out a lot of daily paperwork. As an administrator, I have enjoyed being able to view ratios and oversee communications between my teachers and parents. I also enjoy being able to have electronic sign in and out sheets and activity logs...it saves on the amount of papers we have floating around the office. The Brightwheel staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions. It has improved the quality of our program!

Will only take routing numbers and not a straight up credit/debit card... Other than that it's great.

Our new in-home daycare uses this app, and it's magic. As a developer (though, not for apps) I can appreciate a clean UI, solid performance and rich functionality and options. Keeping track of my child at the daycare has never been easier.

Great app. Easy to use. Much quicker than writing in communication books all the time. Could use some tweaks here and there but the developers are continually updating the app so I can't complain.

Love it! It would be even better if I could see which teacher is entering updates and which is responding to my messages. The developers are very responsive to feedback and work to make the app helpful to parents. Thanks!

This app is awesome! I love that the the theachers mesaage me or i can message them to see whats going on. I like activities check-in as well. All in all great app. Good job to whoeever made this app! Thanks

Now that I’m able to download videos, I love this app!

While the app itself works great and I think the concept of this is great also, as a daycare teacher I feel like I spend too time updating things on my phone when my focus should be on my kids. We went from paper sheets to this and while it saves paper I feel it takes more time away from the main focus of my day (my kids)

The app is nice, but it doesn't work for its audience. Working parents don't get to sit on their phones all day. My daycare used to have precious status, and i liked getting the notifications in my email because I could see them while I worked. Now that they switched, I don't get a chance to see them most of the time. BW has a nice UI and it functions beautifully, but it useless if i can't get the updates anymore.

My son daycare uses Brightwheel. I love the app features of activity updates. Its gives my husband and I a peace of mind to know our son is doing well. Today9/27 , the app suddenly stopped working. I sent an email to brightwheel customer service and their response was prompt. Thank you, Hallie of brightwheel for your help and reassurance. Happy to say the app is up and running; ready for tomorrow new discoveries.

I love all the features just needs one more. The calendar needs work, parents dont get notified of date ads, i wish there was reminder alarms for example on a day closed it notifies parent 1 month ahead then 2 weeks then a week then a day in advance

overall the app is okay. but I am not receiving push notifications except for check in and check out . I've tried updating uninstalling 're installing making sure notifications are on for phone and the app and talked with the representative but I am still not getting notifications unless I manually refresh UPDATE: THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for adding the alerts I needed. this is really great now!

So far it's okay, however we have problems using it on an Android device it's a little slow and crashes/shuts down constantly. Is it compatible with Android?

I appreciate that Brightwheel gives me a glimpse into my child's day, but I've been having some issues lately. About a month ago I was not receiving any notifications, once I updated the app the problem was solved. However, today it won't load. The app is saying there are no notifications, even though I received a push notification. I have updated the app, restarted my phone etc., but nothing has worked. Not quite sure what the problem is now.

This app is ok, but we still have to send paper sheets to daycare saying when the last feed and diaper change was and what time we're picking up. If there was a way for parents to add food/ potty updates for the morning, that would be helpful. I know patents can send a message to accomplish this, but it would be more useful to integrate it with the rest of the tracking.

I would have given a 5, but there is no way to save videos. Please come out with an update so videos can be saved! Otherwise, it's a nice app. Easy to use and I like that I can see messages that I've previously sent.

Having trouble with this app. Keeps saying theres no activity posted however I get push notifications. When I open the app nothings there. Edit: everything is fine now. Love this app. Five stars

UPDATE: from 2 stars to 4 stars The response from brightwheel (through app and email) has been great. And their most recent app update allows push notifications for all entries. They say they will enable daily summaries through email soon, so I'll update to 5 stars then. Original review: Our daycare just switched from precioustatus to brightwheel and I'm unimpressed. The app only lets you get push notifications for check-in/out, photos/videos, notes, messages, and incidents. You won't get notifications for food, bathroom, naps, or activities (the things you want to see!). The app doesn't auto update, you have to refresh manually. You also can't get a daily email summary. There are obviously plenty of reviews here from people who want those things, but it's not available. Brightwheel is not listening to their end users.

Update: App working fine now. Updated review. Still looking forward to a video download option. App not working 9/27/17. Not showing anything. Also, when it was working, would love a way to download the videos like we can download pictures. Currently no way to do that that I can find. Other than that the app has been working great until today when it just stopped showing any updates or any of the old activity. Will update review if it gets fixed.

Not loading or working correctly after last update. Not consistently sending notifications. Long time to load. No problems with previous version.

Love the app and the ability to see what my child is doing throughout the day. I love that you can download the picture. I wish they would make the videos available for downloading too, so parents can save the priceless captured moments that the teachers share with us. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Other than that GREAT APP!!

This app is terrible. It freezes and shuts down constantly. Today, it erased my entire activity log. I have no idea how to get all the information and media back. I really wish my daycare provider had not switched to using brightwheel. This app is garbage.

Most of the time it's not working. It states error. I can't see pictures, notifications on my child. Today didn't work at all. Hope they get it fixed soon or find new app

Love that I can easily download pics from this app and that they've updated it to where I receive a notification for reports on my child..I feel connected now thank you!

It's a good app, works as advertised. The one thing I would appreciate is upping the character limit when composing a message.

Slow, takes forever to load, and shuts down all the time

The app functions well day to day but I really need the ability to save videos to my device (and from the web interface).
