Human - Activity tracker for Android
I really enjoy the app for allowing you be placed with others around you by average activity. I have tried alot of these type of apps and this is the one that stuck for me in activity training. Started on iOS and got it on Android and it's as great on here as it was for me on the iOS platform. User for life!
It's realisticly the best app in tracking how I can climb the leaderboard and get them steps in! It doesn't use much battery and the interface and format is crazy amazing
Downloaded on a friend's recommendation. After a weird glitch this morning, my third day of using the app, things seem to be running smoothly. Looking forward to the various social aspects of the app getting integrated. It'd also be nice if the city and nearby counts included users of both the iOS and Android app.
Pretty cool, lightweight, and motivating. It really doesn't do any detailed tracking, at least that I've found yet. Probably not intended to. Might be nice to support ANT+ HRMs.
Accurate tracking, too bad it drains battery so fast. Also doesn't have the easiest layout (always takes ages to find out where to find the kilometers walked).
Pretty accurate at monitoring my activities, and I love the aggregate statistics and visualisations available at cities.human.co. A few niggles in the app that rob it of its fifth star - notably that when I turn off activity summaries in the settings, I still get them.
Slow, not always synching, much worse than iOS variant! So bad!
This app spams notifications that can't be turned off. I only wished to compare my activity with people nearby, but with all the notification spam, it's really not worth it. (I got three notifications while writing this review)
Uses gFit data, but somehow records about 2/3 the walking activity that gFit does? Misses large segments of walks (map view) that other apps catch.
Notifications keep on showing even though I turned them off. Otherwise a decent app.
Published your picture without proper warning, notifications get annoying and keep appearing, even after switching off in settings.
No longer tracking properly. Tracks less than half the data that Google Fit picks up.
I turned off the notifications in the settings but it still get them
This amazing innovation should include Albania, it's capital Tirana also, as soon as possible, we also love technology. Great idea, Love iy
Does not always record the walks I do, but other than that it is okay.
Cool design with annoying notifications!
Beautifully designed, works like a charm. Looks amazing on my Google Pixel. Love the Google Fit integration.
I love the motivational messages and the general trackinG and stats, but our office got it as a team building motivation activity, and we spent a few days getting it set up, had to use a halfway fix using slack integration, and the leaderboard kept giving wonky information. Most of our emails to the support team went unreplied to other than "sorry, feature is not functional at this time." Anyway, still like the motivational notes it gives, but I feel it's about three big upgrades from a 4-5 star review
I loved using this app but after about a month of using it, the frustration of using it, is too much. I have my location turned on 24/7 and frequently it marks me multiple times throughout the day in transport mode. Aka it thinks im in a car. Every day i have to go back and correct it to tell it that i was walking and not in a car. Even with the high accuracy mode engaged I've found it still inaccurate. Going to use Samsung health from now on. Since that seems better in terms of accuracy.
It's interesting to check how much you walk. And there is a competition feelong when you compare to other people. Though the number of users is still small, I easily keep in the top rows. The shown calories are clearly too small. Maybe they meant KILOcalories?
Nice interface and accurate tracking. Excellent to see the rankings nearby and in city. Motivation message pop ups are really good. But few trackings based on the speed are updated under different activity though im not doing that. Please provide bulk update / edit option of the records of a particular activity. Few manual intervention is required here to make it more accurate.
I love the human app on iOS which is still not perfect with lots of flaws, but the android version takes it to another level of failure. I am forced to stop using it. Looks like the devs don't want more people to use their services so they do not put any effort on test/imporving the app. Sad to leave, but I have no choice
I've been struggling for the latest weeks with erratic readings and unreliable results. Doesn't sync properly to Google Fit, which Human support called the real engine of the app itself, making an otherwise valuable tool virtually useless. It's a battery sucker and makes my phone hot, it becomes uncomfortable to store in the pocket while riding or walking. It'll probably end its days like many other apps, uninstalled whenever I'll find the time to clean my phone. Nice and graphically awesome, if only worked.
It's badly optimized for android, when I was using it for ios it wasn't taking me so much battery and here it does hence it makes useless for me now until a further update
I have all the notification switches off but it still notifies me at the beginning and end of the day and when I've hit 30 minutes. The 30 minute thing is fine but it's really annoying seeing as I don't like getting a bunch of notifications all day. Otherwise a neat app.
The app is having syncing problems it shouldn't be discontinuing syncing on its own comma don't give me the answer from the question I asked months ago
I could list here several features and lots of minor tweaks that I would have the developers add to the game, but an app store review isn't the place for it. Instead I'll tell you about my experience with the app as it is now. I've never had an app integrate into and improve my life as seamlessly as Human. Movement is most of what life is, and if you download this app and make it a point to move for at least 30 (or 60 [or 90]) minutes every single day, you won't have to worry about life getting in the way.
Simple and best app for monitoring daily walking steps, cal burned.. Must have app.. Good work by App team... Can you give option of showing km instead of miles
I'd like to be in groups with my friends on iOS. Also the notifications have been all over the place, it'll hit 30, 60, 90 minute milestones fine, but then later the same day it'll pop up with random things like "16 minutes, good start!" Then later it'll be something weird like 37 minutes in the notifications after walking around more - all on a day where i've already passed 60 or 90 mins. Written September 9, 2016.
Love it. It brings competitiveness aspect to every day walking. It seems to me that it's quite inaccurate though
Nice app that you just turn on and forget. It will send you notifications when you hit your goals. I like the witty comments.
This app is great. I saw it on Nat Geo-Data Hunters documentary. Good job!
The tracking and stats are great. Wish the developers could add history to show your previous stats. Also it could sync with fitness bands. The iOS counterpart is better. Why?
Excellent to remind the average Joe like me to get out and exercise.
App is best among all activity apps, just improve the accuracy, I ran for thirty mins, still it was showing stationary
It could stand to be a little more accurate, but it does the job well enough.
Can be better. Try to include weekly and monthly rankings.
Part human, part android
This is a gr8 app. It inspires me to move forward. I love the app

Was going great til 2 days ago. It ended my 48 day streak cause it's not updating my active time. Cause of my work I have to walk for at least 15 minutes going to and from. It appears to only be getting one way of walking. And it updates only cause I open the app. It wasn't doing that before or at least not as bad as it's doing now. I should not have to open the app to get it to update.
