I work in the inland marine transportation sector in Paducah, my for a harbor tug service. This app did work great up until about a month ago, I'm out on the water all the time and can tell you that there are boats all around me and the app shows that there are no boats around. Today is November the 6th of 2016, I bought the premium version as well and it doesn't work any better.

UPDATE: now it works fine, looks like they fixed something. PREVIOUSLY: shows wrong ship location and history always shows as a loop ftom wrong ship location to the actual location. Cmon pay some cash to your app coders, this is lame so far!

4 stars due to showing out of date position of cruise ship Thomson Dream. Update 1 year later. Still shows above ship in 2014 location. Down to 3 stars.

Better vessels detection and tracking than paid Marine Traffic. Bought it and not up-to-date tracking. Worst is not even detect some vessels. This app should have better interface. Right now its too plain and looks unprofessional. I will even buy this app as long its maintain the tracking system.

Last data result keep on repeating. I used to try every single day,because my friend is on travel.still the same. I also did to clear data the app so that it will be refreshed,yet annoying. I can't have a new result. why??

App is brilliant for my down time on holiday accurate and very informative but, The Add bar covers parts i want to read it covers ships so i cant select and it covers text. I have used the feature with options not relavent a number of times. It says thankyou taken in to consideration . Guess what nothing changes. 5 out of 5 if you get rid of the add bar please please please get rid of the add bar.

I can see tows passing my house yet Find Ship shows zero vessels in the area.

Ive been tracking the Pacific Dawn and for the last 3 days its been in the same location...so can only give 3 stars at this point!

Would give five stars if this app listed and showed the location. Of lock and damns. Don't understand why this isn't on here. Other than that it is pretty accurate on vessel location, and information.

It works fine but the UI is *very* dated. As of this writing (May 2017) the app hasn't been updated since April 2016. I suspect it's been abandoned.

I uninstalled and installed this app so many times and it hasn't up dated where my significant other's boat is. For the past couple days it's saying his boat is still in the same spot, when I just found out earlier that it's now in a different location than where this app is telling me. I'm beyond mad and upset with this app.

Great for tracking cruise ships. Ideal for an amateur tracker like me. Other site I was using required a substantial annual fee to track ships when they get into satellite tracking zones! Well worth going the extra if you want to get rid of the nagging adds and increase the number of ships in your saved fleet.

But settings are a little difficult

Probably my favorite app. I live on the river and it is so cool to be able to track the towboats that pass my place. Also very handy in the summer when out running the river, to be able to anticipate when the locks will be tied up commercially if I need to lock through.

Helps me so much. Working as a skipper for a launching company and when new vessels come in easiest thing to use. During heavy fog it works great!

IT is awesome, you can keep up with ten vessels at one time. And the last vessel you looked for will be the first one that popped up when you reopen the app!

It shows adjact location only when the ship is at or near by port....does not shows location correctly when the ship is sailing. U can use SHIP INFO which is more adjact than this app.

All's good and accurate, it has very much improved since my last review a year ago. I find this app to be working very good in the, St. Lawrence and Great lakes area Canada.

Work in a port...good to see ships coming in ...but don't trust it...I was looking at the ship and this app had it 10 minutes away out at see....don't think my boss would be happy with that excuse....

Used to be able to follow all my offshore friends. Got a new phone and now I can only follow one ship at a time. Upgraded my phone for a downgraded app.

App has gotten a little better, however the app is not updating properly to show real time locations! Please fix this!

Awesome app, use it often to track vessels comming into port. That advertisement bar is located terribly.

QM2 shows same position every day and is showing 2015 date. How do I get current position? RESPOND PLEASE

Very good but never seems to update the destination or arrival time. Not sure if that's the apps fault or the vessel sending the information though.

Works great to see what incoming work and traffic you have. But occasionally it will put line boats days away when they are only miles away.

the only disappointing fact i noticed abt this app is when the ship is underway the app cannot give the accurate position it will be stuck where it was last tracked needs improvement for that one BUT OVERALL, ITS THE BEST APP I USED FOR SHIP TRACKING.

Not working so giving up installed 5 times was OK but not now. It shows Thomson Dream of of Spain doing 51.2 knots is this correct NO

Can track my hubby easily, even if I cant view the actual location of his ship can see their ETA even without asking him!

What more it can do if you buy the premium ??

Did more than expected. I check with the ships website to see actual location and it was pretty close. It would be nice to be able to log into the data path to download each gps update, so it could be importable to excell to plot out the actual path taken.

Its free and useful application,easy to find every ships...

Needs a refresh button and be a little more accurate.can 5 extra spaces where you can save the vessels you're tracking.fix this and I'll give 5 stars.

Not as accurate as Marine traffic. The destination and eta isnt correct. Pls fix it

Perfect little app. Would love to know what the various colours, of the triangles/vessels, meant. Anyone know what the update time is? For example Flightradar24 updates it's radar map as quickly as every 8 seconds.
