YPlan Cinema Club - Showtimes

I only went on here for the promise of getting cheaper tickets for 8.99 so says this app on Google. .well it doesn't it just links you to the cinema to but it from there...im well disappointed!

YPlan previously had better cinema deals. The new cinema club is rubbish

dowload fever app for cheap odeon tickets for £7.50 yplan used to be better to get £8.99 this app is crap just links you to the cinema no discount prices totally useless app

Great cinema app. Quick and easy to find local listing. Dont bother with Google. However - would be useful to have film certification.

The addition of prices is a useful touch.

Guys, on the past I used Yplan to buy tickets for Vue and used Fever to buy for Odeon, both had promotional prices and I just needed to choose the more convenient for me. Now you guys created an exlcusive app only for cinema and notice that since then I never bough a single ticket anymore? WHY do an app with no promotions??? Is the same price that is on the cinema(Vue) website, and on Fever still half price... so disappointed

Good for Film Times and where they are showing and at what price

Promised an offer which was missing on the app. In fact there is nothing in the app that makes buying tickets even easier or cheaper, there no reason to use it

Saves you money

Prices have risen astronomically. Used to be quite good - between 5 and 7 quid, then went up to 8, then 9, now instead of buying tickets for "any film" at a participating vue cinema, you buy tickets for a specific film and the prices vary between 9 and 13. Not using anymore.

It seems that the £9 yplan cinema ticket (that used to be 7 quid in the not so distant past) has been replaced by this app. However I'm struggling to find prices that are any better than paying face value on the cinema website!( even when checking a few days in advance). Might as well save yourself the hassle and just buy at the box office- or find an app that actually does offer discount prices.

I log into the y plan app with my email address, so don't know why this needs my Facebook/Google account details.

Rip off

This app is the absolute example of how a user interface can be great but the user experience awful.

Tickets no cheaper than buying at box office. Plus booking fee. What a gyp!!!

I too have downloaded the app and it has refused payment multiple times with different cards. Very odd considering I've purchased through yplan regularly. Pants

All movies are in full price. Bleh.

This isn´t working. I tried to buy the 8.99 ticket and after entering my card details it just says "payment failed". Now I don´t know if I should think the app is crap and not showing the bank´s authentication page to enter the internet security code or if they just stole my card details...

Refused to take payment kept saying declined yet payment worked fine in the cinema 2 minutes later

Why does this app need to know my age etc?

Janky performance, animations make screen transitions slow and annoying, crashed when I pressed the back button a few times, navigation doesn't make sense, back vs. up is not implemented correctly, doesn't sync my tickets from YPlan, lazy port of iOS-style bottom navigation, too many elements appearing and disappearing on main page as you scroll, confusing to use.

App deals are good am testing using it tomorrow. However, avg has detected the app as potentially unwanted malware. May want to check out why that is, now fixed thanks devs

Show times on apps landing screen are reported in 24-hour time. Not all movie posters load if they're not relatively new. No posters available if the film was released more than a year ago.

Good response from dev, will upgrade to 5 if issues ironed out.

Good, but you really need to stop actively tracking location when the app is no longer in the foreground.

Once again, there's no reason why this app couldn't provide details for the whole UK, yet they only choose to offer details for London cinemas. Bit disappointing really.

The marketing email says "From £5", it doesn't say how the £5 ticket price is achievable... nevertheless, my local favourite cinema is charging its normal ticket price, so this app is just chaff.

Was told in an email that £5 tickets are available but there are no £5 tickets available. There's no instructions of how or where i can get £5 tickets. Please sort this out as i need the tickets tomorrow.

Really easy to find showings of movies nearby and to book tickets. Perfect for movie lovers.

Nice app for looking up showtimes, not so great for booking. How about using Chrome Custom Tabs to redirect to the cinema's booking page, instead of a WebView? I'm already logged in there, and don't want to be bothered with logging in again in yet another app, not have my details autocompleted, etc.

Not sure of the point, should have ticket deals on it like y plan. Also having to scroll through all the cinemas alphabetically as opposed to nearest to location seems silly

This app is exactly what I have been looking for. Gives me nearby showtimes and tickets on the go.

When I hang out with friends and we decide to go to a movie, we always run into the problem of finding out what's running nearby - this app is exactly what I've been looking for !

Nice app, that allows you to watch trailers and find showtimes in cinemas around yourself. The ability to pre buy tickets directly from the phone is a nice plus :)
