This is one of the worst app I have ever used. It wont let me register at all using google or manually. Although Facebook login worked, the terrible UI and the large amount of bugs that are unresolved within this app makes it near impoasible to use. For example, that calendar when adding a payment method is invisible. As well, all the input fields are squished together and when things go wrong, there are no user friendly error that tells me whats wrong. Another thing that seems to be inexistant is the ability for a user to remove a card. Honestly, I can go on forever with the smaller problems that is in this app but the biggest problem here is that after all the struggle I cant even purchase a ticket. As a developer, I find it amazing that this is even allowed to exist on the app store...

by Q####:

The app is easy to use. You can buy multiple tickets at once then activate them as you need to. It allows you to create a pin for making purchases. When you buy tickets it asks for your pin and the CV number on the back of your card to verify. The only problem I've had is entering the expiration date for my credit card. When you go to enter it the calendar doesn't show up well so it's hard to enter it.

Waiting for the updated version. This was just very hastily done. The concept is great and shows promise. But, like everyone else, can't input payment methods, and the Google sign in isn't secure either. Sadly, this continues to perpetuate the poor image a lot of us have of the TTC.

by Q####:

It's unbelievable that the TTC released an app like this with its name on it, then again it's reflective of the TTC's lack of customer service and quality. this app sucks because it is virtually impossible to enter the expiration of a credit card. The calendar which is supposed to allow you to select a date is blank! Seriously. Bravo TTC.

Perfect example of product teams that have zero understanding of why they're building a product. A key outcome for this product is for customers to buy tickets. The credit card input, in particular, the date picker, is unusable. It's invisible.

Sign up states password needs to be alphanumeric characters, does not specify *has* to have both. Once info entered it still produced error until I tried another password and discovered the account had been created. Credit card expiry entry is a nightmare - starts on today's date but calendar is otherwise blank - have to count months to hopefully get right year and month entered. Needs major debugging - par for course for something from City of Toronto I guess

Shows some error as soon as you finish filling up all the details. Tried multiple times. Wish it worked...would be of great help. :(

Cannot buy day passes through the app anymore. Have tried reentering my card info, tried reinstalling the app, my wife tried it on her phone with her card and nothing seems to work. Worked fine up until 2 weeks ago.

Very useful app. This is a must use app when you're commuting using TTC in Toronto. However, there is a bug on the date picker when I'm trying to enter credit card expiry date. Please fix this soon developers.

Q70%
by Q####:

Credit card expiry date calendar input is a ridiculous guessing game, data connection is required to display the pass that I purchased, startup is unreliable. Just buy a paper pass.

L70%
by L####:

In the description it says you can buy then it advance and then use them, but you should be more specific with that description because when I see advance I think days in advance not hours in advance because now I just bought a ticket that I wont even use because I thought i could buy it today and use it tomorrow, very disappointed.

Q70%
by Q####:

Says I can purchase tickets in advance but when I go to buy the ticket there is no option to buy anything. Terrible

Great way to travel around Toronto. I had no trouble adding payment. Only improvement I could suggest would be adding payment by PayPal.

X70%

Once the calendar is fixed I'll give it 5 stars. I figured out how to enter the credit card expiration but it took a few minutes.

It simply doesn't work. I tried to enter my credit card's expire date, & it defaults to today's date & doesn't let you change it. POS!

The buy ticket screen is completely blank. Tried restarting my phone, re-downloading the app, tried signing in with different accounts.... nothing.

Bought a day pass for later use, app now has a password I did not set up. Would like a refund.

I purchased a single day pass via the website using a google email but when I go to the app to retrieve it...the app showed an error msg when I click "sign in with Google"

Trying to add a payment method was extremely painful. The app refused to pull up a proper calendar for the credit card expiry date. Otherwise the it is quite convenient for family passes on weekends without having to go to a subway station first to purchase.

Z70%
by Z####:

When prompted to enter your credit card exp date, an invisible calendar pops up where you can't actually see the dates. If you click somewhere in the blank box, you'll see the date change at the top. Scroll left or right to change the month... I had to scroll 25 times to get to get 2 years in advance when my card expires. Otherwise it's a great app to buy your passes, just make sure your phone has battery life for the duration of your outing.

This is a great system, I've used it since it came out. However, this latest version has a major bug where it does not allow you to input a validation date for credit cards, making it impossible to enter a new payment methtod.

Z70%
by Z####:

Very few people know about the TTConnect e ticket system. Needs more publicity regarding the app for people to be aware of it and go paperless.

N70%
by N####:

only used it a few times but works well. great for when you don't start your trip at a subway station ie: purchase the pass and hop on the bus

P70%
by P####:

Works as described, but the payment information section has a software bug that does not properly display credit card expiry time inputs. Also, I understand the need to validate a pass, but the "offline" pass storage isn't truly offline. A connection needs to be re established if the app is closed or phone must be restarted.

Instead of having to go to a booth for a pass (single/group) it is available on your phone.

Z70%
by Z####:

Works as expected with the exception of one HUGE bug. When you're entering your credit card expiry, the calendar does not show up properly, thus it's next to impossible to enter your expiry date. Why it is displayed as a calendar is beyond me, when all that is needed is a simple drop-down because the only data that is requires is the month and year. My friend also downloaded this app on his HTC phone at the same time and had the same issue.

Pros: -Expressly and Convenient. -No Physical TTC Day/Group Pass (Paperless). -Expiry Date is set to 365 Days after date of purchase. Cons: -Requires you to have a Credit Card/Prepaid Visa/Prepaid MasterCard. -Transactions are decline when you use your MasterCard Debit/Visa Debit. -Requires you to have a Full Charged Phone.

I was using this app all the time, till it came up with an AVS processing error. So deleted my card, an tried to set it up again, and can't enter the expiry date, as the calender function is broken.
