Buy your DART bus pass on your smartphone using the MyDART app. Creating an account using your email is a breeze. Once in the app, enter your credit card information and you will be able to buy bus passes for DART Local, Express, Flex/On Call and Paratransit services.
DART is introducing a day pass, 7-day, and 31-day bus passes only available in the MyDART app. With the day pass, you can buy it at any time of day and ride Local and Express routes unlimited times until the end of the day. The 7-Day and 31-Day passes are the new alternative to weekly and monthly passes, but with these new passes, you are no longer confined to the calendar week and month. Buy the pass any day of the week and ride as much as you want for the next 7 or 31 days.
If you ride DART Paratransit or ride any DART service at half fare, you can have that added to your MyDART account by calling Customer Service at 515-283-8100.

You can use this for single rides. It's good for 2 hours so you can transfer. I don't know why they don't advertise this unbelievably convenient feature. It's such a pain to always have exact change, and I don't ride often enough for a pass. So this is perfect. You can get OTT passes, according to the info on dart's website. Dart sucks, so you have to dig around to actually learn about the app, but in the end, it's already made my life easier.

This app doesn't assist with getting around via DART at all. It allows the purchase of passes but nothing else. Why would you include zero route information? What good is the pass if you don't know when the next bus is?

Bus schedules and can purchase single ride or bus pass. Takes the headache out of riding the bus! :)

Use the ride time app for schedules. This us not for that.

Works great, love the 7 and 31-day feature rather than just weekly and monthly. So if I buy a 31-day pass on the 17th, it's good till the 17th of the next month. Or if I buy a 7-day on a Wednesday it's good till next Wednesday rather than weekly starting Sundays and monthlys starting the 1st only. To the people giving it one star because it doesn't give you route information: Why's it their fault you assumed it was a completely different app than what they specifically described? Lol if you want route and next bus info get the RideTime app or use Google Maps and scroll over to transit. And to the one stars because it's "hidden and not advertised by DART": Um, take 3 seconds to look literally anywhere in the station or at the posters on every bus and you'll see it everywhere. Again, why's it DART's fault you don't pay attention? I think this app is great, it does exactly what's advertised and has a surprisingly minimal amount of bugs for how new it is. You can use it for one-time passes, which also lets you transfer the same as a paper transfer within 2 hours, one-day unlimited passes, 7-day, 31-day, flex, etc. Saves me a lot of time and money.
