Metro UI Lite for Android
Very Poor app design. Slow and does not show my apps. This app was great a few years ago. Cm10 nookcolor
Won't let me add any tiles. All I see is a black screen and the market tile.
This is the simplest n lightest launcher I have ever tried. It is soo light that it doesn't make ur phone lag. Try it :)
looks goof but dont work on my gs2
Can't add apps how doo you doo it tell me
Do I need to say anything else?
This shit does not work
This one is the best UI and is working brilliantly on my phone..I really had big interest in Metro UI and this one really fulfills my needs.. Big thanks.
THE LOADING takes 1 AND A HALF HOUR!!
Ok, so, I have tried lots of other launchers and bought the full versions too. None have been this easy or good looking either. I love the easy operation of Metro UI Lite...will probably be buying and sticking with the full version...VERY SOON. After I give lite version a test run for a while. I do like that it looks like Nokia Lumia Windows Phone.
I have been looking for ages for the app drawer to pin apps and couldn't find it. Was just about to rate 1 star when i accidently swiped right, and there it was! My apps! Lovely UI but needs to be a bit more user friendly. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
3 stars for now but can easily do better.
For those with black screen, touch right edge of screen to open app drawer. Long press on desired apps to add to homescreen.
Only shows one item and that's the market. Can't add any more.
This launcher doesn't appear to work like in the photos listed above. There are no customizable icons to choose from. Yes you can pin any app icon to the home screen but there are no customizable icons that show on the home screen just the regular ugly default icons. Please fix for the epic 4g touch......
Guys u need to add the apps u want to the home screen. Colors wud hve been nice
Dead simple and crazy quick (after the first load). Few features but very lightweight. Great for my older deactivated phone.
Real nice, and easy to see. No ads! However, I personally prefer launcher7 to this :) congrats tho to the developers... add widgets etc.
Doesn't work on my sg2
Would be great if more metro icons were added
Doesn't work on nexus s
It just perfect nuff sed (;
Nice AAP but could have been better if every tile could be coloured
Perfect. Fast snappy & light. Couldn't ask for more. Keep it up. :) And to all who think it's not loading or that only one icon is visible : swipe to the right and you will see all of your apps. Press and hold to add more to the home screen.
Not bad, simple and fast. I like it.
Peeps Snab launcher 7 way better ui and the lite version is full with adds in app drawer that's it plus way better lol
Tested on both my Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Sensation. Works flawless on the Galaxy but lags a lot during animation in Sensation. Love it!
It's lightweight and after the initial startup, is really fast. Thanks to the dev for making this free with no ads.
its great simple and lightweight two issues 1. it gets killed when I clear the RAM through the default Samsung task manager 2. please add the option of changing the colour of each tile individually.
Dosent work only shows market and phone tile on my galaxy note
I wish the tiles is more costumizable... like a picture can be used as tile... Or 2x1 tile (vertical or horizontal) for a tile... Plus, please allow tiles to have widgets (like time and data, or weather). Good start though... just need more work..
Used it on a friends SGS. The pro, paid version. For an app that costs $2.99 (against innumerable useful apps that actually had some effort from the developer for $0.99) this really sucks! launcher7 pr somethibg like that is wayyyyyyy better and FREE. No widgets, search... how can the dev have the courage to price it so outrageously, or even price it at all. There should be a money back policy on apps like these. And this one should refund with interest!
I just would like to ask for some essencial shortcuts or widgets like turn wifi on and off. But it do what says, lightweight, straight to the point and btw im going to install at my mom phone. She bought her first touch smartphone and have been tricky for her. With those big tiles will help her for sure. Thx
Waited a few minutes hoping the icons would appear. Only icon that shows up is "Google Play", which does work. Able to apply wallpapers, however no other icons. Would be great if more icons were included.
This is pure garbage. No fly-away animation, only one stock icon (market), and very little customization. I know it's free, but c'mon! Launcher7, ftw!
This is perfect for me to use as the UI to install for some of my older relatives who are not so tech savvy. Stupid simple and just not anything you don't need. Love it!
Wow, this app has the stupidest people reviewing EVER! And lots of 'em. If you are to retarded to figure it out, don't rate one star. Just go buy a flip phone and leave the droids to the adults.
To the idiot who was butthurt about lack of "effort," go suck on a tablecloth. I tried out the free version and it is much faster and smoother than Launcher 7 (which I used for months). The configuration is much cleaner and simpler and it has all the features you actually need (seriously, who uses search to find apps?). Tested on Xperia Arc
other than that, well done, lightweight, simple and easy to use. would love function to lock the homescreen (prevent accidental long press). thanks.

To add icons you slide the home screen left to bring up the list. Hold your finger on the icon you want and up comes an option window. Then add it to your home page. It isn't exciting but it works and it's easy.
