ChopAssistant for Android
It's a great app the only thing is I don't like the fact that I have to say OK Google every time then say what I need to say how do I get hotword command so I don't have to say okay google every time and how do I get google assistant to show up just like in the pixel phones on the screen I hate seeing the okay google on the screen
Should I have to root my phone for this???whwn I have to download get assistant it says this app is not complecated with ur device... :( plz make a video tutorial on utube
I like the Idea and the screenshots look good, but i never got to use it as the app it needs required root access and I don't want to root my device
Amazing but too bad Google release it know no one needs this app.
i got the google assistant but i cant trigger it by long pressing home button
Google has released assistant for all devices above 6.0.
Hello guys it's very easy to configure in Google assistant... Just u need to follow steps guys..
Nothing much because it's a new app, eh
Needs ROOT access
I even sent a feed back to Google from within the Google app. They must be annoyed when they read it. Lol The screen flashes a bit when you say okay Google. But hey, it's at least working! Not when the screen is turned off though?
i dont know why it does not work when screen is turned off i just installed this to chech whether it can fix this issue or not but it cannot.... it one day automatically started detecting my voice even when screen was off but after software update it isn't. it works if i wake the screen up at try but it wont if screen is turned off!
OK Google enrollment isn't working on LineageOS/CyanogenMod (call it as you want), this app is a temporary workaround. But hey, one problem OK Google works only on homepage. Anyway, thank you so much!
Dude, I realize Google doesn't like you messing with their stuff, but have you considered making a root version that strips the voice trainer altogether? As it is, it works, but the phantom window flash is extremely annoying. Maybe you could host it on F-Droid? Good work though, do you know why this occurs on non-Pixel devices?
It works like it says. Great job. But after you say OK Google and are done with assistant the phone icon on dock is highlighted. That's only thing I see wrong. Thank you for this app.
Great solution to an annoying problem. However, OK Google detection only seems to work on the home screen, doesn't work within other apps or the app draw. Also, I hope in a future update there's a way to stop the ghosting of the voice training window. (Device: OnePlus 3T Android 7.0)
Thank you. Just a small thing, everytime i say "ok google" training screen appears for 1sec then only goes. Any way to fix it?
Never imagined there would be a proper app against my problem. Loved it, life saver for OCD guys.
No complaints bro...just exactly what i was looking for...but the retrain window pop's up for a sec every time i say ok google before assistant.. Would be nice if it doesn't..but still great work.
Had a misunderstanding. Apparently when my device reboots, all accessibility toggles are turned off. Works great.
It doesn't work leaving the home screen. It would be great if it works on every screen! I have moto x play and i run nougat with google now.
Dude the app works great and I'm really happy with it in addition, it helped me get rid of annoying retraining voice thingy, your app made my day.
Clean. Simple. Solves the problem.
Thanks! Not pretty but does the job :) Is this a bug for 7.1.1 or is google taking this feature away from devices that used to have it enabled to force upgrade to pixel? Running on Moto X Pure 2015 AICP 7.1.1 nightly
Good that you updated the app, I noticed that I don't need it anymore. Good app tho but uninstall :)
Great Idea in action here..I can only suggest here, and that is to give the app device administrator capabilities so that it longer requires accessibility to be reinstated after each reboot. Amazing App either way. Thank you!
This app is the only solution to the problem. Amazing app. This just completed the pixel experience.
It doesn't work. After installing Google assistant by modifying build.prop and then allowing chop assistant in accessibility it still doesn't work.
it's working great on chopping startup but hangs up my moto g4 plus
You need to have trained your voice model atleast once... This app needs better instructions.
Couldn't ask for more other than the little screen flash of the retraining window, but meh. I'm super satisfied!
I had to disable the accessibility service, retrain one more time, then re-enable it the service. Everything seems to be working now. Thanks!
Excellent app that solve the issue with assistant
Only for rooted users. It won't work.
It works man great! But dude... why I gotta find out about about this by accident? I been searching for the fix for 2 days now. Does what it's supposed to do and I ain't gonna complain. Works great man thanks!
"Use play store to open" message when we disable launcher is wrong. When it is disabled for launcher, play store does not have open anymore
It would be awesome if you could add an option to use root to actually *fix* the problem instead of just remove the screen when it pops up. The app would still work the same for those people who don't have root, but would be MUCH better for those of us who do. Thanks!
Is there a way to get rid of the pop up altogether? Thanks I wish you luck in finding away to do it
The voice setup screen appears for a split second after saying OK Google. Please fix this.
I really want to thank you for this. I got Google assistant but the feature to use it from any screen wasn't working properly but now its fixed. :)

It dose not work on android 7.0 with the latest version of google asistant. I enable the accessibility settings and try using it. It said "unable to connect please check internet connection" i have tryed restarting my devise and it still said the same.
