Chipolo

Not consistent, sometimes goes off a lot, others not at all. Battery use is different for each device. Works pretty good. Not quite a 4 star but close, I'm tough.

So you need the app open at all time I guess. It is real cool and dose what it promis with me like make the phone ring on silent (loved) but I did notice if I clear all apps on my phone then chipolo will have some issues. So I locked the app on my phone so it never gose away.

After a couple weeks with chipoloplus , if you don't had a data or internet connection on tour phone can't find the chipoloplus , it really need internet connection and Bluetooth connectivity and order to find the chipolo plus , if tour phone don't had that , good luck .

It is interupting other devices that are using bluetooth at time. And it is not consistent

It's good, and it usually works for me when it's able to connect to my Chipolo. The main downside is occasional high battery usage.

My chipolo won't send out of range notifications. How to rectify it

3 stars since they could improve the app by a great deal. Signal strength for example... So you know where the tracker is in a noisy environment - telling you it's near is not sufficient. But from all the trackers, this one is one of the best... Can't wait to try the card

This device and app saved me so many times. The best tracker. Sadly, people have only heard of the other ones that aren't as loud or don't have removable batteries. The community seems so small, at least in my state.

It would be really great if it would actually work well. Sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't...even when my phone and my key chain where I have the chipolo are close to each other.

Like it But just the part where it's supposed to remind me when I seperate from the Chipolo and it should Ring louder NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

I have only had the Chipolo for a few weeks. I used it once to find my keys. The sound was great and it lead me right to my keys. Love it.

the ONLY reason i got this was for the gentle help it offered me as a keyfinder for my mother of 6 Children , 12 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren she developed dementia and constantly forgets where her keys are so gets distressed and worries something untoward is the reason they are missing. this has been relied on countless times and us being a close family we all have the App and permissions on each of our individual devices and have independently used it whenever we are with her, which is several times a day as we all have families and careers of our own i am so pleased with the Chipolo and bought it after loads of research and narrowing down on possible units based on my need. as for the company customer services... i would say that the duty of care provided as a potential customer leading up to the purchase while it was nothing more than one of the available products i was considering was first rate, WELL DONE for the reason i need this type of product and after a LOT of research, i would (and frequently do!) recommend Chipolo the peace of mind provided by a product that perfectly meets my need is just so refreshing. so for my daughter who doesn't have dementia i have the Chipolo classic and the Chipolo plus i have for my mother because of its splashproof quality.

Chipolo Plus stopped working 3 months after purchase, app chews battery

The only thing is it should ring Louder

The chipolo plus often loses connection even though it's in the same room and says last seen hours ago. So when you need it, it doesn't work. It's a fantastic idea but not executed very well.

Half the time they don't work. Can be standing in the same room and no matter if my bluetooth and location are on, it will always make the "failure to connect" beepy noise. Wish I wouldn't have wasted so much money on these. Usually I root for the underdog. I wish they worked, it's a good idea. I had one on the keys, purse, wallet, and one in my car for parking.

Excellent key finder! Ordered a batch of 4 Chipolo plus'. One had a low battery at arrival and was replaced (without any costs), the rest has been functioning flawlessly since they've been activated!

Great device when it works. I have a few chipolos and some of them do not work well. They also drain the phone battery. One of them has cracked.

I honestly love this little device im the kind of person that just throws my keys somewhere and forgets. I have 1 one my keys and 1 in my wallet i love it it works exactly how it says. When i go to the gym and leave my stuff in the locker and leave the second it disconnects from my phone i get an alert and i like that so if i were to drop my keys or wallet somewhere one day i would know before its to late. Love it its a very handy device. Only thing is you have to keep your Bluetooth on but i ordered an external battery case for my phone so problem solved. 5 out if 5

If i lost anything and got stollen and out of range i cant see it i will only see it if i was lucky and there was someone in the area with 30m range have the app downloaded to his phone i will get one point trackeing then i need to waite for onother luky moment

First one didn't work. It wouldn't pair although it was evident my Bluetooth was "seeing" it. Followed the trouble shooting tips, contacted customer service who had me jump through more hoops. It still didn't work. I contacted them again and they sent me another one. Guess what ....it doesn't work either. Same thing....sees it but won't pair. I give up. No Chipolo, I don't want another one. Two that don't work are plenty.

Updated: There has been constant improvements since my previous review. The Chipolo team has been great answering my queries since I started using Chipolo. They have a focus on customer satisfaction. Chipolo App didn't work in my phone to start with. Great support to get the app working. The app and the chip do what they are supposed to do. Range could be better, but works around the house. I am yet to lose my keys to appreciate the value of the Chipolo... but in the meantime it's fun to see them tracked.

This thing gives you a false sense of security. The day I lost my key on the way to work with one of these attached, I checked the app and the last check-in was a 5 days before on August 24th. Five days! It's October 18th and still no update. Completely useless.

Update: After several months of use, it's worthless. It's not reliable at all. You have to constant babysit them for them to be of use. If you move on with your life they will be worthless when you need them. Old review: Once moved the battery saver it was nearly perfect. Support hits the ball out of the park! Everyone is nice. Easy to reach, quick responses, and very knowledgeable. The one thing that concerns me is that sometimes when the chipolo goes out of range it has to be reset. Well if it's lost you can't reset it. That doesn't happen often and hopefully I can find it based on last location. Another cool thing though was that the app gave me an address very, very close to where my chipolo went out of range.

I have 4 of them and none work. Called service over month ago.

Can't trust it. Usually does not make phone ring. I often test it and just get a double beep sound. Took it back to shop to be told I have to keep app updated. This was done for me , worked again in shop but not when tested back at home- phone right beside it. I am sure we got a dud, but it seems from your reviews so did many others. Maybe the product is not consistant.

Work every second time ((

Works when you're not looking for it and doesn't when you are. Opened the app looking g for my keys. App couldn't locate it. Looked for half an hour only to find it in my dogs bed. Apparently she wanted to go for a ride. To me it seems like a waste of money too bad I bought 8 of them

It doesn't always work, sometimes my chipolo is right next to my phone and it still doesn't pick up. Quite often when I double click to find my phone it will only work from particular chipolos.
