The Chinese Contemporary Bible is a revised version of the Chinese Living Bible published in 1975. It’s a translation of the Holy Scriptures in modern Standard Mandarin, also known as Putonghua, meaning “common speech”. It was translated from the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek and published in october 2012.
The translation was written in informal every-day language and uses a meaning-based translation philosophy.
This version of the Bible have changes in Chinese language that aim to reach a younger generation.
