For all the idiots complaining about the permissions...You can send photos and voice messages with this app! It needs those permissions or else it wouldn't work.

The app remains buggy. I can't find any noticeable improvement over the updates. The theme is not changing throughout the app. Crashes a lot. Notifications are live only when the app is running. i.e. Unlike WhatsApp, the notification are not arriving when I clear the recent apps in background. Thanks for developing the app

cannot add tox id read from qr code. probably it's because they contain lowercase letters.

The concept is awesome, and execution is good. There are some features that are missing as of now, but I know these will be added, and the minor bugs will be solved.

Great potential. Please develop further. The current version lacks notification of messages received while the user was offline /phone watched off/ antox switched off.

I love it. But what makes me really disappointed is that group chat can not use yet. Really looking forward to this.

Denying permissions should disable just that functionality, now it blocks the entire app.

Tox messenger is non commercial project. It's developing thanks to enthusiasts. Author of Antox is known as one of the developers of android app among Tox community. If you read carefully description, you were warned that video and picture is unavailable now. So if you find a bug and want to help resolve it. Install app for logging system work like CatLog(root needed) or any other. Record log by the logging app at the time when the error manifest itself and public the log at tox.chat blog. Good luck!

Can't hear other person. After few tries crashed. App is just too buggy and unfinished yet. Good luck fighting stupid Skype. Hope your app will work, I want videocals and scrern share.

Why does it force me to enable camera and microphone permissions? This is a bit fishy, i would stay away from it until this is fixed.

Amazing. Works perfectly on my Huawei P8. When **someone** doesn't likes some application, is normal to have lot of negative comments, trying to discourage people. So I didn't care of bad reviews, and I was right.

It's still very buggy. My contacts names are displayed by their Tox ID instead of the username and no profile pictures are shown. Changing theme requires app restart and it forces you to give it permissions.

Nice, yet not finished, app for tox.

It's not super polished yet, but it's a good way to send encrypted data/messages if you want your messages "of the record".

Camera doesn't work on Galaxy S7. Not sure what's up with that. And, not sure why it's so hard to add friends. Does the app not connect with our address book?
