Chaos Calendar

Does not correctly handle repeated events downloaded from Windows PC to Android on Samsung Note 2. Support unhelpful. Not prepared to pay for sync servi e until it works perfectly.

25 year user. Early integration was flawed but this app just works. 3000+ contacts and all my appointments anytime and everywhere I have my Android.

I am a long time user of Time & Chaos on a PC. When I recently purchase an Android phone, I installed both Chaos Contacts & Chaos Calendar. I use them with Chaos DesktopSync, because most of my work is done on my PC. I add almost all of my info on the PC, and then transfer it to the phone. Calendar and Contacts both share the following 3 problems. (Due to Review space limitations, they are only listed here: not with my Contacts review.) 1. Almost no information on how to set up then up, either on the phone on with DesktopSync. It took several Emails to Chaos support to get them running. 2. I have mine set to only sync manually, but often they sync automagically, which can cause problems. 3. Events/contacts are added just fine, but frequently events that I deleted on the PC are not deleted on the phone, and sometimes they are even added back to the PC. Support says this should not happen, but it does. These types of problems should not occur. Chaos could have done better.

My best program. I have lived by it every day for 14 years! Even better linked to my phone.

Well it was fantastic till the last upgrade. Sems to run ok on my laptop but on my phone and tablet repeating appointments now repeat on the wrong day, eventhough correct in the repeat schedule. It would be good if the groups were automatically coloured rather than having to remember them, they dont show up automatically. Haven't managed to find a way to display the date in English rather than US format when creating an apt. Also tablet needs to be able to alarm an appointment for days or weeks Long term user of Chaos Int was very happy, Now disappointed. Fix it please guys. Design version just for tablet if that will fix it please.

Freezes after each sync and date in US format only doesn't work for me, have now uninstalled

The concept is solid. But, if it crashes every time it Syncs, it's of no use.

Unlike the main Chaos Host and Chaos Intellect products (which are excellent and I use all the time), dates and time only in US format, so unuseable for the rest of the world. Shame, because it's otherwise a good app. Chaos support not interested in updating the app to allow a settings change option. - I can't believe it's difficult to correct this bug.

Using t&c on droid tablet and phones. Sometimes it works great other times it will sync my husbands data to the laptop, but not to my phone. Kinda frustrating, but way better than companion lync software.

I own a small cleaning company and sometimes I have to make appointments on the spot. this app is perfect because I can just sync it up with the computer and it never have to worry about double booking anyone. It also made older systems that I was using previously completely obsolete and saves me hours worth of work when I'm done doing the physical labor. I can't imagine operating my business without this. It would become severely less efficient.

Great app!!

These new apps are perfect for those of us who are long time Chaos/Intellect users and want to be able to take our data with us on our phones. I've been getting by with other solutions but am excited to be able to use native Android apps developed specifically for use with Chaos desktop software. So far it's great!

I have been using the Personal Information Management system from Chaos Software for many years now and think, at least for me, it is the best and easiest to use on the market. I don't endless flexibility, I just need for it to do what it was designed to do and do it well. (Are you listening MS Outlook?) The Chaos system does this flawlessly and now with cloud sync and a mobile app, it is just that much better.

I use the calendar widget on both my tablet and phone. At a glance I see everything that is coming up. Add events on any device and it is on all of them. Just works

Best integrated mobile app. Love the way it syncs to Chaos Host so laptop and smart phone are always in sync.

Great to have a Android link to PC Time and Chaos.
