About FastRetrieve ReportBack

Reports your current position to the FastRetrieve system. To set it up, go the the "Settings" menu and enter your pilot number and the report-back phone number used in this competition. From then on, whenever you want to inform the competition organizers about your whereabouts, all you need to do is wait for your phone to get a GPS position, and then push the "Report Back" button.

If other pilots landed near-by, you can enter their pilot numbers as well, and report back for them. You can also send a message along, like for example "waiting at the bar".

This all only works with if both GPS and phone services are enabled on your phone, and both have reception.

Important: This App is only intended to work in connection with FastRetrieve (see www.fastretrieve.com), so the texts sent by it are not thought to be read and understood by human beings (although it's not impossible).

If you have a phone with an old Android version (below 2.1), send me an Email and I will create a version that is supported by your phone.

Does the job, but far from perfect. In the beginning of message it sends unnecessary text, like "#FRB4Android". Then goes your pilot number and GPS coordinates in one line separated only by a space. I suggest the developer: - get rid of that unnecessary text in the beginning of the message if possible - put pilot number/name, coords and message in different lines - option to get the phone number from Contacts - make the user actually see the coordinates - have a choice of different GPS coord. systems
