About Robin

The app Robin was developed and evolved out of the early detection sessions at the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Zürich.
The app can be thought of as a diary of your mental state. In addition, the app provides tips and information about how you can better deal with how you feel and your problems.

Features of the app Robin:
-Logbook: Here you can write entries about your mood, mental health problems, any medication you are taking and special events.
-Symptoms: In this section you can find information about a range of psychiatric symptoms and ways to cope better with them.
- Crisis Plan: You can create in advance, and thereby have easy access to, a plan about what you should do when a crisis situation arises. Having this will enable you to get the help you need and get better.
-Weekly Goals: You can enter a to-do list with the goals you’d like to achieve that week.
- Library: In this section you can get help to deal with your every day problems. You can create a list of what your strengths are, and there is a gratitude diary where you write about positive experiences you’ve had each day. They’re all easily accessible and can be referred to at any time if you’re feeling down, as a way to help cheer you up. The library also has a section with ideas for activities that you could do to brighten up your mood and day.

Please note that this app is not a replacement for appropriate medical treatment and management. The app is not intended to replace medical treatment, nor should it be viewed as such. It is not a medical product in the sense of the Swiss Medical Devices Ordinance Act (MepV). If you are experiencing any of the symptoms listed under in the app under "Symptoms" and these are causing problems in your life, you should talk to someone, and consider getting help from a mental health specialist.

The app works offline and is not connected to the internet. Data collected by the app is stored in its private directory. This data is protected by the operating system and is inaccessible by other software on the device. The app does transfer, or store, any data on the internet, and no data is stored outside of its private directory. In addition, the app is also password protected.
