GéoGuide Lausanne

Le GéoGuide de Lausanne offre un parcours à travers la ville avec comme objectif de transmettre des connaissances sur le développement urbain, sous toutes ses formes, et ses impacts sur l’environnement. Il veut également mettre en évidence l’importance que le relief et la géologie ont joué et continuent de jouer sur le développement urbain de l’agglomération.

Le contenu du parcours est organisé autour des relations réciproques entretenues par trois systèmes: le climat, l'eau et l'atmosphère; les roches et le relief; la ville et les activités humaines. Le contenu scientifique est fourni par de nombreux chercheurs de la Faculté des Géosciences et de l'Environnement de l'Université de Lausanne, pour lesquels Lausanne constitue un véritable laboratoire à ciel ouvert.

L’application contient un parcours divisé en deux parties, partant du Bois de Sauvabelin au site universitaire de Dorigny, en passant notamment par la Cité, la vallée du Flon et les rives du Léman. Une carte interactive vous guide tout le long du parcours, et indique l’emplacement des 30 postes contenant des informations thématiques.

Découvrez également diverses problématiques environnementales et urbanistiques auxquelles Lausanne est confrontées, notamment la pollution des eaux et de l’air, la reconversion d’anciens quartiers, la densification de l’habitat ou la gestion de la mobilité.

Bonne balade! The GEOGUIDE Lausanne offers a journey through the city with the aim to impart knowledge on urban development, in all its forms, and its impact on the environment. He also wants to highlight the importance of topography and geology have played and continue to play on the urban development of the city.
