Lady Cycle for Android
The app doesn't indicate fertile days and doesn't predict ovulation or even confirm my ovulation when it's very clear from temperature/mucus data...
Worked a 100% for me!
I downloaded several apps for NFP and this has been the best (and it's free!). I almost paid for a subscription to natural cycles and am glad I waited to test them both out at the same time. I put all the same information in both apps and lady cycle accurately determined when my period would start and was only a day off estimating an ovulation date. I've researched how symptothermal methods work and I could see the program utilizing the same methods, including advising to abstain from sex the three days after your temperature spikes. I'm only about two months in, but very pleased as someone with regular cycles trying to use NFP to avoid pregnancy. A couple of negatives...1) the design, the woman silhouette put me off at first, I really liked the simple, clean design of natural cycles. Worth it though, because it works. 2) most importantly, I haven't found a way to share the app with my husband. I really liked that natural cycles had a log in so he could've downloaded it too and followed through my account.
It's really easy to use NFP and keep track of my cycles with this app. In fact, I'm no big fan of the app's design, but neither is this what matters most in birth control. (I really like OvuView's bright and clean design, however, this app doesn't allow using NFP.) I have a couple of wishes that would make the app even more useful to me. - display of number of cycle day in calender and form - display of temperature measurement time in cycle sheet - clicking on temperature dots in cycle sheet to automatically open the form of that particular day - display of menu when clicking the 3 stripes instead of automatically going back to "home view" - I have a bug where sometimes temperature disturbance factors are selected and displayed automatically; one factor I've added manually is usually selected but not ticked in the variable list, so that I have to tick and un-tick it so that it's not selected anymore One thing I haven't figured out yet is how to use the correlation display (which I can't wait to check) - maybe there's just not enough data yet/too many missing values? Also, I can't select variables in the analysis sheet - how do I do that?
Just a little confused on how the widget works and the colors behind the lady silhouette on the main page mean...
It's a shame that a comprehensive app with so much potential has an interface that is clunky, outdated and difficult to navigate. To be fair, I have similar negative observations about even popular apps like Ferility Friend, though Lady Cycle could be much superior thanks to its adherence to highly efficient Sensiplan rules (a rarity, especially on Android), and I would be using it right now if it wasn't for the unfortunate design. I keep installing it and trying to adjust because it's a diamond in the rough, but I just cannot get past it. Gonna keep checking and hoping it all gets simpler, cleaner and more streamlined. Until then, Kindara and OvuView are the best compromises for me.
I love this app so much! After installing and uninstalling a dozen of similar apps I tried this one and it hasn't disappointed me in nearly 2 years. Amazing layout, no ads, I can enter as much or as little as I want. Keep up the great work!!!!
of not liking it and it's ok.... I don't like the layout... I don't like how you have to continually go back to the calendar to add your period days... I don't like how it makes you do a check Mark twice after adding in info.... I don't like that you can't track when you've had sex... ok.... maybe I just don't like it
Every time i try to navigate anywhere on this app it asks to re-enter details on the form. I would rather keep track of my body details on pen and paper than use this app.
Out of the apps I've tried, ladycycle is the most comprehensive and allows me to record the exact data I want. I found it complicated at first but the online tutorial really helps. I haven't got to grips with everything yet but I'm prepared to make the effort just because this app is so detailed and genuinely committed to providing women with contraceptive choices that are hormone free. If I stay pregnancy free for a year I will definitely be donating!

I love the new widget this app has. Very discreet, yet let's me know my next cycle is! The app itself is customizable, and very easy to use! Loving the new improvements!
Really great app and I like the new widget. Not sure why some rate it so low. I find it easy to use and attractively designed

For some reason it force closes everytime I attempt to load saved data from SD card. Now I lost over a year of data. Not happy.
This is a great app for your lady parts and time.
Mast tha
Just started to use it, looks much better than others I tried.
I LOVE this app it's my most fav one on Google Play!!!
Thanks guys
This doesn't do anything special for me, not compared to My Days or OvuView. It's layout isn't very sleek and the program is a bit clumsy. Not worth the price in my opinion. *Saying OvuView is outdated and unreliable is libel. You wanted your app rated, so I did. It's not discrete, it's clumsy, and it's poorly developed. That's my opinion. Welcome to the internet.
Difficult to use
Finually a way to prevent pregnancy without the nasty side effects, like cancer, of contraceptives!
I tried entering my birth year of 1977 several times. It gave the msg that 1950 was the cut off, which should allow for 1977. Eventually I tried 1950 & that was accepted, but that's my mother's age, not mine!
If you can navigate it all the power to you. I like that you could add a lot more info to your cycle. I would like to have been able to go to the calendar to add info and to have a place that said started or ended.

I just LOVE the update, correct all the issues and layout I was crituc about. I would only advise it to include the symptothermal method beyond the NFP, and maybe put basic and advanced mode for manual changes (like determining end of fertile period)
