About U-Abo
"U-Abo" is the first app in Switzerland designed to manage season tickets to regional public transport networks. It was developed especially for users of the TNW U-Abo season tickets.
The app enables the simple, secure purchase of TNW U-Abos.
The transfer function makes it easy to switch from a paper U-Abo to a digital U-Abo in the app. In such cases, the existing paper U-Abo can be scanned with the app and submitted for a transfer.
The digital U-Abo is stored in the app and can be shown conveniently if there is a ticket check.
The "U-Abo" offers the following functions:
- Simple purchase of personal monthly and annual U-Abos; for the range of products see www.u-abo.ch
- Transfer function for existing U-Abos; for the range of products see www.u-abo.ch
- Reminder function prior to U-Abo expiration
- Personalization function with passport photo
- Simple switchover to a new mobile phone with the "Restore" function
- Convenient refunds

Also die Idee finde ich sehr gut und die Umsetzung mit dem QR Code ist auch super bis zum Punkt wo es 8 Tage dauert um überprüft zu werden... Warum eine Mobilelösung bringen wenn es dahinter kein oder nur einen manuellen Abgleich mit der Datenbank des TNW gibt ?

Will not verify phone with the text message. Tried to get the trainticket for the new year, fail, now paying manually. Interface experience was actually good, contrary to all reviews. In context that you get is worth: 0 additional stars.

I like the idea in general, the app is very useful. The only problem is that it takes too much time to start up. It made the ticket controller wait for so long sometimes.

It is a great surprise to me that this app doesn't do even a simple notification to remind you that your U-Abo is about to (or even has already) expire. It would be simple to detect this and provide a quick every point to the renewal process. Otherwise, it is pretty simple to use and saves me having to keep up with a paper ticket, so I feel generally positive about it.

Einfache Installation. Einfache Registrierung wie auch eine einfache Aktivierung. Nach 10 Minuten war alles gemacht. Gratulation an BVB und BLT. :)

This app is golden. Poor graphics with terrible usability. Asks for a permission to make phone calls. A birthday field expects dots, but not all numerical keyboards have them, so you have to go elsewhere to copy paste. This app definitely goes to my personal collection of awful Swiss-made things. It feels really cheap, but probably costed a treasure to make it, with 25 managers per one poor developer. The advertising raised the expectations very high, but then you get this. But at least you tried.
