About PanelPat.ch

An app for Network Engineers, Systems Administrators and anyone else who finds themselves managing or needing to keep track of Patch Panels.

Adding a new Patch Panel to the database is easy with support for scanning NFC tags (using the unique ID of each tag), by scanning a barcode or simply by typing in the patch panel ID.

Each patch panel can also be uniquely named, have a unique description and a variable number of ports.

Each port can have a custom label, type designation (LC, ST, SC, RJ45), Z side Patch Panel name and Z side port number.

Could not get this app to work with naming ports... tried all ways... no option to email or print the map... waste of time many will say different. But u less you want to keep the same phone and have no way to print for a hard reference stick with excel

Crashed 15 secs after running.

I have a project coming up soon and this would be a great tool to have. I'm sure you are aware there are various bugs. Saving port labels doesn't seem to work.

I like it but we need to be able to edit and delete plus it crashes after adding 4-5 panels

I agree with previous reviewers about delete or modifing the panels. Also should have either multi locations or folders. I manage approx. 35 remote sites with about 6 panels at each remote site and it would be crazy scrolling around to different panels. Also an option to export or print would be nice.
