Seit über 50 Jahren präsentieren die Solothurner Filmtage jeweils im Januar eine Auswahl von Schweizer Filmen. Der Anlass ist Motor der Schweizer Filmkultur und Ort der Begegnung zwischen Publikum und Filmschaffenden. Die Werkschau des Schweizer Films wurde 1966 gegründet. Mit über 65’000 Eintritten zählt der Anlass zu den renommierten Kulturveranstaltungen der Schweiz.
