Learn languages with the PodClub-App brought to you by the Migros Club-Schools free of charge and try the vocabulary trainer for more practice.
Engaging podcasts in English, French, German and Swiss German, Italian and Spanish
This is what you get:
• podcasts & vocabulary trainer in 5 different languages
• new episodes every two weeks
• works on- and offline (no roaming charges then)
• subscribe feature
• karaoke function
• difficult words explained
Vocabulary trainer (one-off payment of CHF 6.- per language)
Brush up and improve your language range with the vocabulary trainer. The vocabulary trainer works in a similar way to traffic lights
• Green: these are the words you already know.
• Amber: these unfamiliar words will appear in context (text and audio).
• Red: a definition will appear in the target language.
This will help you expand your vocabulary range in a playful manner. You can, of course, add your own selection of difficult words that did not come in a podcast.

I purchased the vocabulary trainner only to realise that only specific words are designated for you to learn. Please allow the option for a pop up dictionary to learn any vocabulary that you really need to learn inorder to understand the text. But overall a wonderfull app for language lovers

I mean seriously? Either I can't find it or the said option doesn't even exist. I have to close it from Android's switch app feature every single time. What kind of an app doesn't have such a basic and obvious feature? 2 stars! Only because of the app's content. Otherwise 1 star.

Please, Please add the feature that allows to copy the word in the buffer with a long or short tap (to use the context dictionary)!!!

This is a brilliant way to get beyond the basics and begin to move into intermediate language learning. Clear and quite simple podcasts on interesting topics. The text is there to follow easily, highlighting the words the speaker is saying. If you save a podcast you can listen to and read it offline.
