About Email subfolder notification

ROOT REQUIRED FOR THIS APP
-----------------------------------------------------
This app enables notifications on email subfolders in the Android KitKat email app for providers supporting automatic email subfolder synchronisation. (e.g. Microsoft Exchange provider)

How it works:
The app accesses the email app database and retrieves the names of the mailboxes, their folders and their serverids. (Required for creating the settings file) When selecting a Folder in the app a configuration file is created for this folder that enables the notification feature of the email app. For notifications to appear the subfolders must be configured to synchronize automatically. (This can be done from the email app menu when opening a subfolder)

The app currently only works for the original Android email app. (com.android.email)

Loved it, but upgraded my Nexus 6 to 6.0.1 and now I can't get it to work, just crashes, doesn't list e-mail accounts or anything.

Upgraded to marshmallow and now this no longer works which is really disappointing. Hopefully there will be an update soon.

I cant believe Android hasn't fixed this. Your program only lists my Inbox on a rooted galaxy Note 4.

Thanks for picking up the pieces that google forgot. I have 75 subfolders and need to know when I get emails as some of these are very important. One feature request would be an option to select all when choosing sub folders as it does take some time to click 75. Cheers

After getting the issue sorted out with the developer, the app is now working great!

Finally updating my review... works great! And fills a gaping hole in Exchange support that google hasn't fixed for about 5 years.

Thank you for finishing the job Google started. Your app works flawlessly and fills a HUGE feature gap in the native Android email app that Google moronically overlooked. You deserve a medal for stepping up and providing a free solution for the community. I am beyond extremely grateful, and I can't thank you enough.

What Google has missed you have done it!!

Changed to 4 stars. I have a lot if folders with the same name filed under different folders. Would be helpful if you can add the parent folder name to the list. Android L Support would be great!

After getting the issue sorted out with the developer, the app is now working great! Makes Android just that little bit more useful. No more manual base64 encoding, copy pasting, etc. (PA 4.4.1)

I was SOOOOO excited to see this, but alas, it does not work on my phone (Motorola Atrix HD) running CM11 and using com.android.email. I would love to get a working update and give you 5 stars!!!

Nothing happens when opening. Using N5 stock ROM and rooted.

Tried using this on a stock (unlocked, rooted) VZW Moto X Developer Edition, no luck. The app starts up, shows a title bar, and then goes to a black screen and hangs.

N70%

Not working on my Rooted Nexus 5, screen just goes black then eventually force closes

I do appreciate your effort but for some reason its not working on my nexus s . I am running CM11 and rooted . Even after the latest update it is the same experience as Ansen Bayer said in the other post . It does not show the synced folder in its GUI . Please let me know if I can help you in any way for further troubleshooting .

I'm on stock unlocked rooted Nexus 5. The email account info in the screenshot never shows up for me. The button at the bottom doesn't seem to do anything, and the refresh button at the top shows the superuser permission granted message and then causes the app to become unresponsive. Appreciate you trying to do this though! Let me know if I can help troubleshoot or anything.
