Switzerland has always been sensitive to environmental issues and in order to discourage traffic on the road and especially of polluting vehicles, it has established the heavy vehicle fee (HVF) linked to performance. In summary it is a federal tax and depends on the total weight of the vehicle emission levels and on the kilometers driven in Switzerland and in the Principality of Liechtenstein.

It must be paid by all motor vehicles and their trailers that:

- Have a total weight exceeding 3.5 tonnes;
- Carry out the transport of goods;
- Are registered in Switzerland or abroad and drive on public roads in Switzerland.

For articulated vehicles registered as a single unit, the amount of the tax is based on the total weight of the unit. If the tractor seat and trailer are registered separately, the weight of the tractor seat and the total weight of the trailer determine the amount.

Franzosini Mobile allows you to automatically calculate the amount due to the Swiss Federal Customs Administration, by giving also in a second step, the possibility to view the route on the map.
With the new release, it is also possible to calculate the fee by indicating an intermediate destination in order to receive more accurate data or in order to assess the amount due by simply setting the number of km to cover.

Franzosini Mobile includes the calendars of the truck bans from the countries bordering Switzerland and also every single codified abbreviation of the Incoterms 2010 which clearly state who is in charge of the costs and the responsibilities of every step of the transport,of the customs duties at departure and at arrival and of the cost of insurance.

It is a multilingual application (from the "Settings" menu it is possible to customize the application).
