About IOIO XCSoar Bridge
This is app was created because the Kobo reader installed with XCSoar can not talk directly to the older (not OTG) IOIO Boards.
First you need to enable Kobo's WIFI and connect it to your WIFI Hotspot activated on your android mobile device which should be connected to you ioio device. In most cases you android device will have 192.168.43.1 as ip address.
The app will automaticly detect when the ioio device has been connected to you IOIO and will reconnect if physical USB connection was interrupted. You should also configure the correct uart port baud rate according to the baudrate of you LX or FLARM device connected to the IOIO Board.
Configure XCSoar by using the TCP client driver by setting the IP address and TCP port.
It's also possible to connect 2 KOBO's to the bridge. This could be interesting when flying in double seaters.
TCP listen ports are defined according the XCSoar TCP client presets.
The bridge is configured as described below:
Uart 0 <--> TCP Port 4352 and 2000
Uart 1 <--> TCP Port 4353 and 10110
Sending command vom XCSoar to your LX or whatever device (for example changing MC Ready) should also work, but has not been throughout tested.
Downloading flightlogs does not work and will probably never work.
This is free software, developed by Christian Jürges in my free time and for fun. New developers welcome. Feedbacks appreciated. Get the source at: https://gitlab.eqipe.ch/chris/IOIOXCSoarBridge
Thanks a lot to the XCSoar team for their great work.
