Giacometti Art Walk

L’App Giacometti Art Walk è una videoguida strutturata che presenta, in Val Bregaglia (Grigioni, Svizzera), la vita e le opere della famiglia di artisti Giacometti.
Camminando lungo i cinque percorsi proposti attraverso la valle, avete sotto i vostri piedi la terra delle origini, di fronte i paesaggi e i discendenti delle persone dipinte dai famosi artisti. Vi accolgono, virtualmente, Giovanni, Augusto, Alberto e Diego Giacometti, ma anche Giovanni Segantini, Cuno Amiet e Mario Negri.

Gli ultimi 150 anni della storia della valle sono presentati attraverso opere, approfondimenti e aneddoti raccontati da testimoni, sotto forma di una docu-fiction diffusa, approfondimenti storici e opere geolocalizzate. Ogni visita della Val Bregaglia è un’opportunità per un proprio prezioso arricchimento.

La finzione cinematografica è al servizio di un'App innovativa, tutta incentrata sul racconto di una valle montana e dei suoi artisti di fama mondiale. Questa operazione rende riconoscibile l'App del Centro Giacometti nel panorama delle offerte turistico-culturali legate all'utilizzo di nuove tecnologie, offrendo nuove possibilità di sviluppo all'intero territorio. In questo modo, i documentaristi cinematografici Andrea Fenoglio e Diego Mometti caratterizzano il loro progetto artistico per l’applicazione “Giacometti Art Walk”. Tre anni di lavoro di ricerca li hanno portati a conoscere storie inedite che sono raccontate ai visitatori interessati agli artisti Giacometti e alla loro terra di origine; un tesoro che appartiene unicamente alla Val Bregaglia.

Funzionamento dell’ App Giacometti Art Walk:
L’App aggiorna costantemente la posizione del visitatore verificando le sue coordinate GPS;
L’App riconosce che il visitatore è in prossimità di un luogo di interesse per la storia degli artisti Giacometti e della loro terra di origine;
L’App mostra sul dispositivo del visitatore il contenuto multimediale corrispondente alla zona di interesse, sia esso un video, una galleria di fotografie con commento, una infografica o un breve testo associato a un’opera.


Cinque percorsi tematici attraversano la val Bregaglia
L’App contiene 5 percorsi tematici che si inoltrano in tutta la Val Bregaglia e congiungono i maggiori paesi della valle da Castasegna a Maloja, sconfinando in Italia, a Chiavenna e in alta Engadina fino a Sils. I 5 percorsi sono stati concepiti tutti per un pubblico di escursionisti amatoriali, hanno una durata variabile dalle 2 alle 4 ore, sono collegati tra loro e le partenze e gli arrivi sono tutti facilmente accessibili e collegati dai mezzi pubblici.

La vita e la morte - I protagonisti della nostra storia: La forza creativa e la vitalità intellettuale degli artisti e l’immortalità della loro arte, viene messa a confronto con i momenti luttuosi che, negli anni, li hanno raccolti nello stesso luogo di quiete.
Stampa - La terra delle origini: Alla scoperta dei luoghi natii degli artisti Giacometti, svelando particolari inediti della loro vita in Bregaglia, facendo risaltare l’importanza del rapporto tra gli artisti, i loro legami famigliari e la cultura della valle.
Chiavenna - La porta per Milano: Alberto Giacometti era legato alle famiglie Corbetta e Rizzi e al critico e scultore lombardo Mario Negri.
Maloja - Il paesaggio ancestrale: Un viaggio nei paesaggi che circondano la residenza estiva degli artisti con un approfondimento sulle svolte creative che, per alcuni anni, l’hanno resa protagonista tanto quanto Stampa.
In riva al lago - Avventure di pastori e altre storie: Costeggiando il lago di Sils - Maloja alla scoperta di un microclima unico che ha visto l’incontro tra grandi intellettuali dell ‘800 e del ‘900 e una cultura montanara particolare.

Operation of 'App Giacometti Art Walk:
The app constantly updates the position of the visitor examining his GPS coordinates;

Five thematic tours through the Val Bregaglia
The App contains 5 thematic paths that meander throughout the Bergell and connecting the major towns of the valley from Maloja to Castasegna, trespassing in Italy, Chiavenna and high Engadine to Sils. The 5 courses were all designed for an audience of amateur hikers, have a duration of 2 to 4 hours, are connected together and the departures and arrivals are all easily accessible and connected by public transport.
