Pilot's 3rd Eye

Pilot's 3rd Eye ist ein Informationssystem für Privat-Piloten. Es ermittelt während des Fluges die aktuelle Position und Flugrichtung mittels einer App auf einem handelsüblichen SmartPhone. Diese Information wird über das Mobilfunknetz auf einen zentralen Server übermittelt. Dieser antwortet mit den Positionen und Flugrichtungen aller im Umkreis fliegenden anderen Pilot’s 3rd Eye-Apps.

Das Prinzip ist einfach, setzt aber voraus, dass alle die App nutzen, Verbindung zum Mobilfunknetz haben usw.

Pilot‘s 3rd Eye ist daher wie ein drittes Auge mit dem man mehr sehen kann. Es besteht aber absolut keine Garantie, das man immer alles über die Flugzeuge in der Umgebung erfährt.

P3E kann Ihre Flüge aufzeichnen, auf einer Karte darstellen und mit anderen PilotInnen teilen. Pilot's 3rd Eye is an information system for private pilots. The principle is simple, but requires that all use the app to have connected to the wireless network, etc.

Pilot's 3rd Eye is therefore like a third eye which allows you to see more. But there is absolutely no guarantee that you always learn everything about the aircraft in the area.
