statusbar compass

Great idea! You can see the compass arrow in the statusbar while running an app such as Google Maps. Especially useful because this compass works even when the screen is vertical (either landscape or portrait), by continuing to track what the result would be if you were to lay the device back down. The only thing missing is true north. The compass points to magnetic north while gps-based apps like Google Maps use true north, and sometimes the difference is noticeable, at least here where the difference is about 13 degrees.

Does not replace a regular compass app, but, goes well with. Would be nice to be able to choose different pointers in statusbar.

Simple, but very hepful.

Google Maps and Waze sometimes say, "Head west." But in the dark, or at noon or in bad weather, I might have no idea where that is. The arrow could be a little bigger with more contrast, however.

I need it bigger. max sized. it could even be on top of other aps not just in status bar. like fb chat baloon. resizeable

Pretty Cool!!!! Looks like it has been abandoned :-( could use more options to tweak and configure such as a calibration option and icon color/size/shape change option.

It assaulted me! I didn't even do anything. I thought it was supposed to notify you of things!? Apparently not, or it's very selective on what it notifies you about. It didn't notify me that it was going to sucker punch me. Some compass this turned out to be. Review: Mostly a great compass,convenient for me, I just don't like this running all the time draining my battery when my phones battery life is a joke as is so that's why you get 4 stars. Cool, works fine on DROID x. Arrow icon is ugly, if it matched the style and color of other status bar icons it would be perfect.

It would be nice to have settings to where it can have GPS access and icon and arrow color changers and also where it don't use to much battery too especially in the woods if ur lost and can't charge phone or so... a great future update thx

Runs even though I press stop. like to see improvements and ability to just show current direction traveling in letters, ie: N, NE, S, etc. uninstall

Will there be a color changer? Drains battery overnight.

thought [hoped] the status bar icon would look like the app icon. uninstalling cuz that's the only reason i downloaded it. haha
