If the signal strength does not refresh on your Samsung phone without restarting this app on the "old api"; insert your main sim as 1 or 2; insert another sim; set other sim as default for calls, sms, data, 4G3G2G; reboot; remove other sim. The main sim will be set as default automatically, and the signal strength will refresh for that sim to map 2G and 3G networks. Disable the other sim, because it might share the signal strength. The RIL service mode can access cell lists (no CID) separated with [1][2][3], [] sets the "Do not need refresh" and doesn't refresh without a "key press". It might be the same for other apps. If those margins are incorrect set this app as non-game or the resolution at 100% in the game tuner.

App says that there is a cell tower in my house that serves half of the city. I don't think so

Ever since the Nougat update, my Cells page has a ton of Phantom readings. Also, I get logged out often & my readings don't log sometimes. I would have the app running & go to upload and there's nothing to upload. Love this app but these 7.0 are downing the experience. Is there anything I can do? VZW S7 Edge

Can we get a paid ad-free version? I think the ads are a bit annoying. I'd gladly pay a few dollars for this program. Would rate it 5 star without ads. Edit: A monthly subscription would also be an acceptable alternative to ads.

Love the app, use it all the time. WIND/Freedom Mobile in Canada has a new LTE network running soley on band 66 (AWS3) but the app recognizes it as "B3" instead of "B66". Need as many people as possible to upload data as the network is so new towers haven't been mapped out well yet but more data is coming everyday, need more people to use the app on Freedom LTE!

Unsure what this app does. It did not find any cell networks near me.

5.0.9 does not work. are uploaded points but nothing appears on the map.

Force closes

When I first installed it I could not turn the screen off on the phone. Every time I would press the off button on the side of the phone 2 seconds later the screen would turn on again .I had to go to settings and do a force stop the application before I could power off the screen on the phone. Also I could not reliably stop the application from running by using the exit command in the menu or by using the X on the top right-hand corner when you minimize when I would go back I would still see the application running even though I pressed exit or I pressed the X in the top right-hand corner. For safety sake because this application uses a lot of battery power I do a force stop every time I finish using this application . Buy large this is a pretty good application.

My username is showing null, but login is showing OK. Also the ad is flashing and annoying, I'd be willing to throw money at a free one with no ad.

I enjoy using this app to map cell towers. There are a lot of improvements that could be made, but it's already the best app there is for finding cell towers, afaik.

An excellent app for locating masts in your area and the frequencies and technologies the carry

This app is great if you want to get an idea of the sites in your local area. It's pretty accurate and it's one of my top network testing apps. It's highly configurable and some features will only work on some phones, so play around in the settings and try and find out what works best for your phone. Definitely recommend to anyone who's interested in the more technical side of mobile networks.

Please add the ability to display all network types simultaneously. GSM, UMTS, LTE to see proper coverage regardless of signal type.

Allows me to show people what coverage different cell providers have.

It doesn't show what band and MHz my mobile telco is using

This app is simply the best in class.

Love using this app to test and add new sites to share with others. Works really good for my in-zone carrier to show the strong-weak spots.

CellMapper was the fifth smartphone app of its type I tried, and the others before it were flaky, but this is the one that works! I love it that I can collect and upload data, also view and edit anything that doesn't look right on the website. Some of those other apps are crazy for showing phantom "cell towers" that aren't really there.

I have moved two towers so far and located a couple more around me. This is the first app to map T-Mobile towers. I love it.

Useless app after it was updated. Uninstalling. What a disappointment.

Was a great app but now it never seems to want to add new data that I've logged onto the map and when I does, its only part of what I've logged. tower placements are all messed up as well

Love it, fun to identify towers

The dual sim support makes this useful for me again on Android 5.1, but the new UI in cellmapper 5.0 is super laggy.

This app will not let the Samsung Note 7 screen turn off. The minute you turn the phone screen off with the power button and the always-on screen activates the screen comes back on. Exit this app and the phone screen turns off and stays off.

same info as in othr apps maps has some funky dot pixels along highways that make no sense

So good, so far. Need to get into the near field of a local tower, with a clear view, Verizon demands that, rustling leaves, etc., and let it rip. Nice job and easy to get the account activated.

App cannot detect LTE band. Samsung Galaxy S4, S5, Cyanogenmod 13 (Android 6, rooted) It would deserve definitely 5 stars, if LTE band detection would work for these popular phones. In my country (Hungary) LTE Band 20 support/usage is a key issue/topic. Only your app could help to detect it with the above Samsungs (which have Qualcomm modem), please help. I can support investigating this issue. Thanks in advance!

This is an excellent tool that not only shows coverage, but cell site coverage propagation based on real data. That said, I would like to reposition towers online but I can't until I have 2k data points. Arbitrary limit that should be removed.
