Comet for Android
Great
A really great piece of work, whether you want to use it as an experimental/learning Lua environment, or as a modern programmable calculator. It is crisp, neat and highly functional. I can't help feeling that some reviewers completely miss the point when they dismiss it. As far as Android apps go it's pretty exemplary, IMHO.
I understand that full graphics would be complex and not in your interest, but I'd like to draw, animate and make real GUI programs...but still, as it is, earns 4.6810
It could have been an excellent app if you add code completion
Amazing. But can't to some commands. I tried wait() and don't work.
Barely any data used and the EULA is not invasive. The only thing I could say it needs is a more visible menu bar. Perhaps put it to the right of the quick options, instead of above it. *Edit:* Another thing to mention is don't bother trying to save to your sd card.
Now I can code at anytime during the day to help with my lua addiction. However, I would like to see plugins for modified versions of lua. Specifically, I'd like to see a Garry's Mod lua plugin.
Looks nice and as easy to use as could be expected. Iv been using it to test formulas for my game and it does a great job for the most part.
I use this app for teaching algoritm
I love LUA myself it's my favorite language :)
Really kills time when you have nothing to do
I also use this in my computercraft mod i just like programming im a cs student so it wasnt so hard :)
Nice editor. There is no separate output page or access to the android api. You are limited to text output on the editor page. This is only a toy.
liked it

Really nice app for creating and testing Lua programs

When I'm bored, I use this app. This helps me practice solving out the problems I need, like arithmetic sequence, tables, and more! I mainly use ROBLOX to script Lua, it requires Lua 5.1, so it helps me understand more.
If this app bundles with some network(e.g. http support) libraries would be even better.
+the only Lua interpreter for Android that really works —no Android API hooks —incomplete IO —horrible interface —a few bugs —after ~100 function calls the interpreter terribly slows down performing ~2 steps (function call, loop enter/exit etc.) per 1 second
I've only messed around with it a little, but from what I've seen it is a great app for writing simple lua programs.
Provides a simple way to program in Lua.

Works well, however coroutine.resume doesnt return correctly
Great Lua notepad, by far the best Android app of the sort. Snippets and samples are awesome for beginners as well as the overall layout. Well done!
permite probar rápidamente los códigos realizados, bastante práctico
another addition to my lovely arsenal
It'd be nice if you could have the code auto run when you start up your device or sign into it.
I'm a beginner so it would be great if there were more samples. But I can't complain too much.
This is a really good app, much better than any other I've seen for other labguages. Too bad it crashes on io.read().
This app is very useful when I know an algorithm for something I need to calculate but I haven't carried my laptop. I would give it 5 stars if I could copy text from the output box.
Built in engine to run a code. Magnificent. A tiny detail... Why can't I use io.read() inside a block?
Syntax highlighting would make this an excelent app!
I've been using this along with the project Euler app to practice programming. It works great and has been a lot of fun.
I use Lua for short programs so this is ideal. OK you don't get the interactive console but what you do get is a good editor, code snippets, android specific functions and decent error checking on running. I have run an android Lua console binary under a shell but this is far better to use.
That's what I'm looking for. Better than the sl4a'lua support.
Works like a charm, if you could let us edit the layout or colors it would be 5 stars
Nice updates. And after those updates, i believe that you can do more so i have some more ideas to you. droid.led (millisecond, no.of loops) for flailing led light wi can make disco light, brightness control and many more with this. I have huge list of cool lua android focused functions i will email you them.
Thank goodness a lot of thought was put into this beautiful app; usually when you're given only one choice it's absolutely appalling.

Okay, it's a good app, but it has lagg, print doesn't work correctly with variable's , and local doesn't work. It sees clear() as sleep(), and you can't use But I can still use it for simple programs, except those longer than ±30 layers, or it will lagg, and sleep() (or clear()) will last 26 times the normal time.
