BeatBots 2D puts Keepon, your favorite dancing robot, on your Android devices!
Interact with this squishy animated Keepon through:
- Touch. Keepon looks around at your pokes; leans and turns with your swipes; and compresses with your pinches.
- Movement. Keepon uses the accelerometer in your device to lean and bounce as you tilt and shake it.
- Music. Keepon hears the beats in music, snapping, or clapping through your device's microphone and dances in time with the rhythm.

I don't care if he'd drain my battery. It'd be a five star app if he could dance right under my Google play wiget! I also agree with the last poster. It'd work a lot better if he was a music visualization by listening to the music coming off your device

This is a really cute concept for Keepon as an android app. I have been following Keepon since I first saw the music video that was made of it in Korea. However, this app still needs more work in order to fill the shoes of its title as "BeatBots". There is a lot of lag time between the app listening to the music and processing it to make Keepon dance. It is also inaccurate in moving to the song beats. Can I suggest having the app listen to the songs that are play in the device? That way it can be an in-device music visualizer, and wouldn't have to depend on the microphone for input (being that there is always interference affecting the true potential of this app).
