Forks Over Knives - Recipes

Use this app regularly, and love it. Like being able to share by email with other, printing capabilities. Great recipes, content updated regularly. I've seen some complaints that there are some recipes that are similar, but they update with new content regularly and I have no complaints! I rarely pay for an app, and feel like I have more than my money's worth with this. I have paid more for cookbooks and been quite disappointed. Some of these have become staples at our house.

Recipe updates are not weekly. You might wait several weeks for new content. I have emailed the developer, saw a handful of recipes pushed out, and received a mice e-mail from the developer in response. However no new recipes after that. So unless the new meals each week are combinations of the old recipes the app is not living up to the promise and the developer did not take feedback to heart.

I have had this app for a while now and it seems like it has not been updated in a long time. The same old recipes and nothing new. When I get emails from Forks Over Knives they have all these exciting new recipes yet they're not in the app.

Beautiful app and great recipes, but there isnt any nutrition facts. Really inconvenient and almost a deal breaker. Please add them in. Its manadatory for recipe apps, imo. :/

I love how easy this app is and I love the grocery list. However, I'd love to make it more personal by being able to add my favorite forks over knives recipes that are not listed here. Like the spinach and bean taquitos, and the veggie stir fry. Then I would definitely rate it 5 stars and tell my friends to get this app. Thank you.

Thanks for the awesome recipes! I bought the app 2 days ago and would like to ask that you add a setting for the metric system on the recipes? I live in South Africa and we don't use ounces and pounds. Thank you.

Really great app! Shopping list can be downloaded from recipe. Items on list can be added or deleted as nec. Recipes are tasty - especially for a new vegan like me. I also like the FAQS and success stories. Very motivating!

Every recipe is incredible and the shopping list feature makes this app makes it an essential! Would like to see the app work in landscape mode all the way, not just in instruction screen.

Wish they added more recipes, because I haven't received many new ones in a long time. Great food though

My friend introduced me to this app because my 15 year old was trying to go veggie, so I prepared a weeks menu and said we'll by the end of this week you will go veggie or not! He is still veggie and I have joined him......thank you xxxx

I used several recipes and I find it handy when traveling. I always have vegan recipes with me. Thank goodness cause I'm not much of a cook without a recipe.

I'm loving this app! Love how I can add to favorites. That's how I plan my meals for the week. I change out my favorites each week and make my shopping list!

The absolute best app on my phone. Great recipes and just a really well designed interface.

Have been using this app over a year now and I LOVE it, specially when a new recipe is added. Very Easy to use and convenient. :)

This app is great, love the shopping lists, love the recipes... but I don't use it as often as I would **if only it included nutritional information** on the recipes. Those of us who need to count calories would find the app much more useful if we at least had that information. That is the only qualm I have with the app (and the recipes on the web site as well, honestly). I know there is a philosophy that if you're eating plant-based low fat, you can't go wrong. But thing is... I can. So help a sister out and give us at least a calorie count per serving on the recipes :)

I saw a recipe for raw apple crumble on FB and decided to buy this app because the page said, "Find this recipe and more in the Forks Over Knives app". I bought it because I wanted this recipe on my phone so I wouldn't have to try to copy and paste it into my PC so it would be more convenient. I've searched for it and it isn't even on the app! I might be able to make other recipes from it but the whole reason I bought it was because they said this recipe was here on this app and it isn't... feel ripped off

I think the app is a good start. However, I find it to be limited in recipes & loaded with the same type of recipes just different variations. Especially to be a paid app. I found more recipes on free apps such as YUM. I will give a higher rating when the app increases its selection.

Save your money and just use the recipes from their website. There's a lot more on the website in addition to these, and those are free! Some of the recipes serve more than 4 some barely serve 2, but none say how many they will serve, so you're left guessing until you make it and see. The recipes are good, but a few of them needed to be tweaked (like adjusting the cooking times etc).

I am probably on the other side of the globe (PH), but I will try my best to use the recipes daily. I like the layout and the grocery list function. It's very easy to navigate. :) Thank you for creating an app like this. More easy and healthy recipes please! :)

I like the recipes and love being able to add items to a shopping list in the app. Not happy that I have to manually type and add items from recipes on the website that are not on the this app.

Wonderful recipes but for a fairly expensive app the number of recipes is disappointing. I hope you add more. A community section for sharing recipes would be a plus.

I do like the app. I just wish we could adjust the severing sizes for the grocery list. There also needs to be some more simple items to cook.

For some time now I cannot install this app on my Nexus 7, I get the message that they are not compatible

The app is awesome, beware the recipes. While I have made only two so far, both needed additions to be worthwhile.

I like how they give you step by step instructions and the ability to make a shopping list of groceries.

Please provide the nutritional information as well as caloric count for these delicious recipies or guide me to where I can find this info

Love the layout, easy to use and simple! Almost all recipes are delicious, easy to make. As others have said, I'd give it a 5 if it had caloric and nutritional info. More recipes would help but they do add them steadily I've had this app for awhile. Worth it.

Love everything about this app. From delicious recipes to ease of use. Makes vegetarianism so simple.

But if the app had the nutritional and caloric values of each meal it would kill every other app in the store.

This was well worth the money. It's a bargain really. The recipes are easy and SO delicious!!! If I could give this 10 stars I would!!!
