Bookmarks Easy Import

All I want is to import a bookmarks html file. Came up with an error. Didnt do anything. Fail.

Why Root? When rooting device you are open to all kinds of threats give this a miss

The app only let's you use 2 or 3 times than it requires you buy the Advanced version. Total crap.

Exported from Chrome, imported to stock CyanogenMod 9 browser on SGS2. Bookmarks sync is not working between the two browsers since i enabled passphrase encryption on Google Chrome (on the PC) so i needed something to import my bookmarks into my phone. Hint: follow the on-screen instruction when using this app, you shouldn't have any issues. Also important, if you are using other browsers on your PC and want those bookmarks as well, first import your bookmarks into Google Chrome (on your PC), then export to html and copy the file on your phone, then use this app to import into your stock android browser.

Ran on my rooted Samsung Galaxy Epic 4G (S1) with Cyanogenmod 11. Chrome browser was a real pig on this dinosaur of a smartphone. This got my Chrome bookmarks onto the stock browser. Happy days. Note: Ran this prior to deleting Chrome App from phone. Memory was very low and this crashed the first time I ran it. Deleted Chrome and then it ran fine.

Garbage app

A lot of error notifications, although i am rooted and granted this app root access. Even the first time when it worked did not imported the bookmarks correctly, some folders were empty.

I've tried various ways to import bookmarks into my stock browser on 4.4/KitKat, but was finally able to do it with this app (rooted Optimus L90, which seems to have the old type browser plus a Chrome browser -- separate and unsynchronized) . Yes, this app is older than dirt and just as ugly, but it got my one-time job done with minimum fuss.

This app is a scam in order for you to use it you have to buy the pro version after install this development or developer should not be on Google this is ridiculous I wish there was a way to report it

Currently I am using this app in order to view my old bookmarks from my previous device's stock browser, using the saved html file; there's less steps involved, which I like. Wish there was a widget that would go directly to the open file. Had installed a countless slew of apps on the old phone, in order to save & then restore my bookmarks to my new phone, & pretty much all had failed. Wish I had known about this app prior, as it just may have done the trick. (Original Samsung Note to Note 3)

It's listed as free but gave nag screens and finally stopped working. Guess if I pay it'll start again.

Works fine on my dated LG Optimus S. Oddly there was a message that popped up while importing a bookmarks.htm file from my desktop browser stating folders aren't supported but after it finished my folders and links, some sorted alphabetically and some just random (just like in my desktop browser) were all there when I opened the app up to check.

On my Galaxy Tab 2. On first run it locks up. It changes screen orientation to letter. On second run it insists on reading the useless help. Then it errors out saying my stock browser does not support folders. Then it pretends to keep importing but is not actually doing anything. And what's the purpose of the Pro version and why is it so expensive for a simple utility app? Considering how long it's been since the development started, the developer appears to be rather incompetent, lazy, and a greedy fella.

well, it's imported the bookmarks... to itself. Can't get them into the browser, so have to open this app every time I want to use them. Not useful

Found the info on this app by doing a Google search for importing text bookmarks into Android browsers. The link was from 2010. Installed the app from Google Play and after two tries it worked fine. I'm happy with the results. Now I need to experiment with other browsers. Installed on a rooted Nexus 7.

Cannot import, illiterate instructions. Sorry but if English is not your first language please try and obtain an understandable translation. ,

Wont import. But wonderfully takes you to the pro version to purchase. Scam, gimmick, then as other users stated only italian language.

This is a useless app. Only thing it does is load saved bm from sd card. Does no importing. Waste of time.

I mean really?! I'm amazed how a simple thing is made so complicated and user unfriendly. Apps like these shouldn't be even available on Play store

The second time i ran it it came up in Italian. I couldn't rest it to English. Uninstall.
