UK Weather Forecast

Unfortunately on my tablet the adverts from Google are right across in an annoying place, often with flashing lights. With no option to buy I'm stuck with them. If I can't change the settings I'm afraid it will have to go. Shame as it's a very good app otherwise.

Forecasting weather is notoriously difficult. This App uses Met Office data and gives the most reliable forecasts I've found. And it gives lots of useful info too, as well as being nice and uncluttered and quick to use. Recommended.

Widget icon won't change wasting money if you think it's any better paying, emailed you but no reply. Ignorant! Want refund

Not a bad app, forecasts direct from uk met office so pretty good. App works reasonably well. The widget dosent work so well, it wont show realistic icons at all and the basic icons look rubbish and old. Not had an app update since 2015.

Worked great on my old phone, but I can't download the alternate icons for the widgets on my tablet and the widgets aren't available on my new phone at all. A shame because it's my favourite weather app, but I'm having to use a different one to get the widget.

It's a weather app. It works. It shows me the weather forecast. What else is there to know.

Weather app is great on phone. Lots of met office detail in a very nice layout. Map feature is very useful. App will not install on tablet with Intel chip. Shame because it would be nice to use it on large screen.

This has been my favourite UK weather app for years but now it's started severely draining the battery on my Note 5; I don't even use any widgets. My battery manager is saying this app is using over 2% of my battery an hour even after I've closed the app :/

I uninstalled this app a while ago and tried other apps but I didn't find any as good. I thoroughly recommend this weather app.

Nice detail, colourful. Alarms. I recommend the US version which is useful to monitor destinations like Death Valley and The Grand Canyon, experiencing extreme heat. We love the US !

Its good but, interface is tired and disjointed. It could be so much better.

Uses the same data as the met office but so much easier to view. Pay the additional £2 for the full app as the rainfall radar feature is a must have.

I've had this app for several years and everytime I get a new phone, I download it again. I've never had a weather app that's so precise. Today for example, it said it was going to be raining between 6 & 7. 6.11 it started raining. Fantastic, a must have.

used for years. clear and has detail ie 5 day forcast with 1hour intervals. includes UV index to reduce dangerous expose to my children. easy to use no prob on an LG phone.

Was good. Last updated made it inaccurate information on the weather! It's been a sunny warm day in Ls26. Yet all day this app say low clouds n temp in teens

All the info tailored to your own settings. Real shame it does not allow switch between centigrade and fahrenheit for us older ones. Could this be included in next update?

I use the official Met Office app and it disappoints me that it does not have animated rainfall maps so was interested in this one but I can not try this feature without paying to upgrade so I have uninstalled it. What I did see was nicely laid out and graphically pleasing.

Weather apps seem to be either poor with forecast or hopeless app. This app works well and provides good forecasts. After much chopping and changing at last I am happy! Endorsed weeks later!!

In my view, for UK users the are really only 2 weather apps worth using, this one and the BBC weather app. Each has something the other does not have (E.g. the BBC app does not show the likelyhood of it raining at any given time, but this app does show that, and you can switch between temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit in the BBC app but not in this) . So they are both 5 star apps from my point of view

Tried several top rated weathers apps, this is easy to navigate, provides predicted rainfall hour by hour or on weather map. Deleted other apps in my opinion this one ticks all the boxes

I love England and love to follow the weather . I live in Canada but would like to live in England. I recently visited the UK and fell in love with the country and the people . The weather app just let's me keep in touch with the country I love. Great App!

I have used this app (the paid-for version) for years now and am yet to find anything better. The maps section is perfect with its met office radar/future rain overlay for next 36 hours, satellite, temperature, lightning etc. And then there's the user friendly forecast/warnings and handy widgets on top of all that. Overall a great package that I was happy to pay a small amount for. Don't bother with any other weather apps; this + the BBC one and you're sorted.

Wonderful clarity of information. Don't bother going anywhere else for UK weather - this is streets ahead and pulls all the data direct from the Met Office.

Just removed two stars the app itself I love but for some reason I have found the accuracy has gone right down hill I work outdoors a lot so Weather apps are an important tool for me

Possibly the best for UK weather. I do wonder though why the severe weather alerts cover so much of the country rather than my region.

Had this app for some time now. And still probably the best weather app you can buy. The free part is very good. But when you pay for the upgrade, its really cool. Very accurate and reliable. Big 5 Stars from me :-)

Uses Met Office data which I think is best for the UK. Clear and attractive presentation and easy to use. Overall an excellent app.

I really like this app for its ease of use and intuitive layout. The only improvement I'd like to see would be shorter time intervals on the rain radar so you can see a much smoother progression of approaching weather.

I use this app to choose the driest day for big items. Saving the environment by using natural drying. It also helps plan away days in my motor home. Being a senior surfer luckily I can be selective.

Stopped working on Samsung galaxy s4,error while parsing prediction data, also crap on s5, emailed you but no reply. Ignorant!

[This widget used to be perfect. With the 3hr by 3hr weather on your home screen you plan your whole day at a glance. If the weather's good I cycle to work, and pack lighter clothes for the return ride if it going to warm up. With the update, it now shows 1hr by 1hr weather, so you only see part of the morning, and have to open the app to plan your day. So now it's not much better than the BBC weather app ]

It's sad how rubbish our official weather apps are. Foreign companies offer far better apps at the cost of forecast accuracy. Thankfully we have this. I love the presentation - it looks great with dynamic weather backgrounds and the forecasts are easy to read. You can toggle the days to show hourly which you can see many hours at once (10+ depending on phone) or see overall for 5 days. Also has map, monthly forecast, multiple customisable widgets and warnings with notification alerts. Love o

It's an excellent app, easy to use, very accurate so far. Weather warning notification very handy and useful. Graphic representations of weather much better than any other weather app I've used. Uses less memory than other weather apps and not to much data usage. Only issue every now and then eats battery. The other day it was 2nd on my battery usage. This must be a bug most days it barely uses any battery up at all.

The maps option is one I use frequently and shouldn't be hidden under a sub-menu. Battery drain is excessive. It often uses 10% of my battery when just running in the background (the same on multiple different devices). Clearly, it is not synchronising very efficiently, as I am syncing data from other applications in the background which uses nothing like this. Seems to cause wake locks when a data connection is not available.

Recently the map has been showing heavy rain but forecast and widget just says cloudy, these are downpours . find this developer has got real lazy with maintenance and updating a tired user interface that does not tell the weather. Just happy to take. I have contact them by email with no response. Paid user.

Having been a little frustrated with the limitations of the free weather app that came with my phone I went for this paid version as it had a five day forecast to view as a widget and it is also quick and easy to go to the hourly forecast. Not five stars as I would like to see the option of Farenheit and also, whilst it recognises my local town, the forecast seems to be more general for a much wider area rather than specifically for mine and we have often had rain and sun when it wasn't forecast.

Been using this for years and it's still my go-to app for rain radar. The only thing missing that I would really like to see, is a rain radar widget for my homescreen... resizable widget with zoomable map, customisable layers... I'm not asking for much!

Was well worth 5 stars, but despite support from the devs, I still can't get to the premium features I paid for any more. Very disappointing.

This app provides access to the Met Office data in a format that is easily accessible, clear - and tablet friendly. I have also found the developer helpful and friendly when I had an issue with my previous device. Well worth the price.

Unfortunately, after using it for quite some time, the free version has become unstable and haunted by large and ill positioned add banners. Also annoyingly trying to persuade me to buy the premium version. This is not what it was, anymore. Uninstalled for good...
