TransCam

The translating app in the simultaneous time, TransCam, applies the function of reading the text by the camera of the mobile device, integrating it with a translation software and a synthetizer of speech system. The mobile system provides information about the surrounding thanks to a camera what means that after directing the camera at a specific object, it is possible to translate from English, French and Spanish to Polish, e.g. names of dishes on the menu. The outcome (text translated by the software integrated in the program is displayed as a real image with a translation. It can be further read by the speech synthetizer.
