Debut - where careers find you for Android
This app not only enables you to get involved through events hosted by the Debut team (who are wonderful), but it also enables you to get talent spotted by employers. Although this is not always for roles you prefer, it is certainly an eye opener for roles that you may not have considered. Through this app, I secured a graduate role through a talent spot, for a role I didn't expect but sounds great. I would definitely recommend!
This app has a lot of potential however there are a very limited amount of solicitor firms in the law sector, so it would be very helpful if more solicitor firms were made aware of this process. Also the "games" never seem to arrive and are always "coming soon", which is a bit odd when one of them is for a summer placement 2017 and it is already summer.
Have gone to very helpful events thanks to this app. Edit: I've actually got an amazing job offer because of Debut! It really works!
Great App. I wish there were more employers that use this app to find candidates.
Can you please add the university of North West South Africa? Had to sign up as university of Capetown as nearest one.
Team Debut is certainly working hard on the mission. Totally recommend this to students looking for job. I got spotted by a multinational bank.
Hello, Many Universities are missing from the University lists.
Great app and website with a community feel. Genuinely useful for job hunting!
Built well
An easy to use job search application. I found the Talent Spotting feature most useful. It put me in touch with companies I normally wouldn't have applied for, opening my eyes to newer opportunities, and in doing so, I got hired on an excellent placement. There is a wide range of companies already available on the app, but I'm hoping that as the popularity of the app increases, even more companies will be on here, making it better. The concept of playing games to get hired is a nice concept, and I look forward to seeing how it pans out in the future. At the moment however I do not feel that there are enough companies on this section of the app, hence I hope it improves over time.
The app looks good and mentions the odd position locally, but the original idea of feeling talent spotted made me feel valued until I soon realised that every recommendation is for graduate schemes in London etc when I live in Scotland. Can't find any way to filter that.
Look for Talent Spots! Great for technology students, tapping to apply (although easy) doesn't really benefit much, as I've almost never heard back from a company. I got my graduate position through a talent spot selection and haven't looked back though! Thanks Debut!
Good enough app. It just makes it extremely difficult to delete your account. I have been unable to find the section for this for days!!!
Never seems to be reliable, password rarely works until resetting it 3 times and the app sometimes fails to open or crash. However, they do reply promptly to any issues and the concept and features of the app are very good.
Great app. Just I couldn't find supply chain management or logistics in degree area. Only transport management found which is not specifically my major.
Cant apply to any jobs because they never load up, but I did get fast tracked for interview.
Great idea I think it will be useful to a lot of people. Unfortunately I couldn't find my field of computer games design or anything relating. Is it possible to add portfolio links for art based sectors?
Always crashes after sign up screen on android 6
Uni recommended it to me. Great to see alumns making job hunting less painful
Very good app, however quite slow to load. Waiting for interview replies currently
It is not suitable for Indian Students as it only covers UK/EU Universities.
Not a useful one. The job offers were not relevant.
Would like to see more art and design based results if possible
Found out about a lot of jobs and attended events
Amazing. Great thought
Real good
Solid
Fast and concise
Great app
It's a promising app and I like the filters you can apply to see only companies in which you're interested in. Maybe in the future, try to get more companies on the list because it doesn't really offer a broad range. For someone doing chemistry for example , you don't really have that option in the filter or companies in that industry. Really good start though.
Great app but always crashes when try to get full details about the opportunities listed.
Worth downloading if you are are looking for placement. Some good companies on board
Why can't I select that I have already graduated. Only giving me option to select 2017 and 1st/2nd/3rd year
It never worked.
Great app and great support
I am studying English literature and it's not on the list of options?
Great way to find job opportunities
The app has a lot of potential. If in future it had more employers on board, more specific courses to choose from (English Studies is too broad for my area), and the ability to add a short bio/description, then I would be tempted to give it five stars. Also, I've been 'talented spotted' quite a few times but none of the offers have even been relevant to the sectors of interest I selected.
Used to work, had to reinstall now when trying to login keeps coming up with 'oops try again'. Password and email is correct

Only works for people based in the UK. Zero support for U.S. based individuals, which is fine, but that is something that should be mentioned on the website or in the app description.
