Wear Am I

Wear Am I (WAMI) uses a companion device compatible with Android™ Wear (phone) along with a connected device that supports Android Wear (watch) to display off-line maps on the watch without requiring an active network connection or the phone to be nearby.

Carrying only the watch while hiking, boating, exploring, …, quickly find your location and the way back to where you started.

If your watch includes a GPS, WAMI will display your current location on its off-line map.
A Wizard makes it easy to download off-line maps for almost any area.
You can set a marker on the map to judge distance and direction from your current location.
Most watches are water resistant – less to worry about if the canoe tips.

The day or week before you plan to go hiking, camping, or exploring a city, download a map of the area you will visit. When you get to the location you'll be able to see your position on the map even if you are in the middle of nowhere.There is no need to carry your phone with you.
