About Deaf Pad
Deaf Pad helps Deaf and Hearing individuals communicate.
Think of it as a quick and easy pen and paper note pad. Hearing individuals can speak into the microphone. Their speech is transcribed to text and displayed in the note pad. Deaf individuals can use the soft-keypad to type their response.
Once text is entered, hand the device to the other individual.
Two devices can connect via a local Wi-Fi network to allow real-time, two-way communication between devices.
The text in the note pad is saved then restored next time you run Deaf Pad. This makes it a very handy tool for quickly taking notes and reminders.
With Google Play's new Family Library feature you may be able to share a single purchase of Deaf Pad among multiple users.
Deaf Pad works on both phones and tablets. It contains no Ads and no In-App purchases.
Access Quick Help from the menu (upper right, 3 dots) or read the complete help file, with privacy policy, by pressing the blue ? (lower right).

My uncle loves it! He's in a nursing home, bad hearing, bad eyesight. It allows him to speak with doctors and staff.
