Rest - Do not disturb

Don't understad if all this does is block everything in a given time frame I can turn alerts & ringer off. Looking for some controls that seem absent.

Can't turn it off. Even with the close all apps function it still runs in the background and constantly pesters me. No thank you.

I just missed a call from my husband and then one of my kids schools... If i wanted my phone on silent i would put it on silent. Going to find something that works.

The only thing I don't like is that if I need to put my phone on vibrate for a meeting or doc appointment it "interrupts" my already scheduled rest time and i have to remember to "resume" that time when I turn my phone back up. If it's going to INTERRUPT my settings it can at least RESUME on its on better yet I would like for the app to JUST focus on the times I'm asking it to do something and not on random times when I need to quite my phone. They are unrelated and should be treated as such.

Does not ring, it just make a click sound. Bad app

But one annoying thing is that it would go into rest interrupted mode if I put my phone on silent. All good otherwise though

I just installed this app and it seems to be working very well. One thing I like particularly is when I was done setting it up or went straight to silent mode.

Nice but I had to uninstall because you can only set time to hour and 30 minutes, but not to 15 minutes.

Didn't ring when put person in always ring for this person area.

Really beautifully designed, easy to use, and it appears to work exactly as I hoped. The calendar function only costs 68c too. By far the best Do Not Disturb app on android.

Nights keeper still better. It should have a simple botton to swich on/off

I wouldn't use this app again myself. Ran into a problem that my text messages were being blocked when this was installed. This really should be removed from the play store for now.This is a harmful app in my books. It bricked my phone into not being able to send text messages.

Nice simple app I can use on a daily basis. I did not need anything complicated so this worked great.

By automatically silencing during meetings, I no longer have to worry about my notifications and ring tones.

Was hoping for more control over calendar support. Would really love it if I could tie silent times to specific events on a calendar, not the entire calendar.

Tried many similar apps. This one is surely the best.

I've got a handful of numbers that need to get through during "Rest" time, but just tested and didn't work. Multiple calls from same number will start to ring out loud, but everything else is silent. HTC Droid DNA - UPDATE 7/7/14: The list of exemptions was populated by my favorites off of my Google Contacts. I didn't add the exemptions one by one.

The design was lifted directly from Timely.

I need the ability to suspend/pause the DND period, preferably from the notification - not many DND apps have this feature. Maybe also have the ability have the DND period suspended for a configurable amount of time (set in the app and triggered via the notification too). Would also be nice if it played nice with Shush! too.

I've been looking for an android equivalent to my iPhone's "Do-Not-Disturb" feature. This works as advertised and looks sweet!
