Virgin Mobile My Account for Android
I don't know what I had liked about this app a while ago.. but after being with Koodo for a year and their app is AMAZING with real time updates of data and text usage.... I find that this app is extremely slow and doesn't update when I open it up. I understand that it takes 4 hours and I am okay with that.. however, last night I couldn't get an update from the previous day and I wanted to make sure that my joint is not a shared data as my partners data was being updated frequently and mine was not. It was frustrating.. This app needs serious updates and fast.
Your app never works, it crashes upon loading. Uninstalled and installed again and still doesnt load. I tried logging in on the website using laptop and it keeps coming up with invalid username or password and I know Im using the right ones so I tried the forget password option only to get locked out after answering my security question a few times. Not cool.
The app is absolute crap. Like why can't you just download the bill and know what your paying for. But the company is worse crap. How is it even possible to have a 700 dollar bill. Called the company and they were not helpful. Everything is blocked by "privacy"
The app takes a strangely large amount of mobile data. As far as i can tell its just syncing a few numbers. Why would you need megabytes of data for that? Also got a warning that the app was taking a lot of power/cpu in background. Given the feature set, this app should be super lightweight. Either badly programmed or doing something weird in the background. Will revert to just using website.
Hey just hooked up my phone and it seems i am sharing the same number as someone els... Its very inconvinient that no one can help me resolve this right now... Im not a very nice morning person its to bad i gotta make a painful call at 9am on a monday for something this stupid
I have been with you guys for 2 years almost and love the app! Convenient, I can change plans, pay bills etc but for the past few months the app has been crashing....and now I have to go on my laptop which doesn't make it convenient...hope you can help
The reason I'm changing my review is because I bought the warranty coverage for my new phone (as I broke my old one and didn't have it) and when it fell out of my pocket and smashed six months after I got it I still had to pay $150 for a replacement. Wtf does the warranty cover? The phone call? Hardware upgrade was only $30 more at the time so I fell like I got got
Canceled virgin mobile after a month due to bad service, and a surprise tolerance charge that I called to ask about and they admitted they didn't know what that charge was for...been with koodo for 2 months, koodo is awesome, reps are way more competent than virgin reps. Also just convinced a freind to switch to koodo after he was with virgin and got bad service and surprise charges as well. NEVER LOOKING BACK TO VIRGIN.
Much improved compared to first version. It loads and works well most of the time. I like that it makes it very easy to pay my bill with a credit card. Significant room for improvement on the Internet service usage data. It's practically nonexistent at this time.
Crashes frequently. Fields don't always populate correctly. Easier and more pain free calling in to make a payment (I hate having to call in). Pretty sure the original self serve app worked better...
You guys suck your service is abysmal and to try and get satisfaction is almost impossible I have for 6 months and trying to tell you that I try to get into my bill and it comes up that I have been suspended but if I keep trying eventually it will correct itself fix the God damn thing I'm really tired of trying to pay my bill when you guys are so incompetent
The balance and usage on the app never matches the pdf down load.. I'm constantly confused as to what my due balance actually is... Beware people, you may be paying more than you owe if you're going by what the app says!
It's very hard to understand the app. In addition, the service sucks. My terrible experience with virgin mobile is being ripe off with unexplainable charge. I found $36 long-distance charge I never called. Didn't honor the promise of referral discount. All they ask is pay the bill. Frightened to cut off service. Forced me to pay extra. call my phone and my girlfriend asks for payment every single other week. It's a worst company i experience. I am seeking other company to switch and also complaint to BBB and telecommunications committee. Stay away from them ever. I am broadcasting to all human being I encounter with in my life.
Never has functioned, unable to open the app since I installed it. Waste of time, like the whole company is.
Took a few tries to get the app to load and run. After I logged into My Account on Virgin's website, the app loaded and ran perfectly. Maybe you need to be logged into the website for the app to load and initialize.
Me and my wife just switched to virgin today and both of us get errors when trying to install "cant connect you to our server" iphone 6s and samsung s7edge.
App doesn't show data plan or usage accurately, and doesn't retain any login information much less actually stay logged in (and, "keep me logged in" doesn't work). Also, doesn't show plan upgrade or change options. Terrible app.
virgin mobile is a falling cell phone business. there website if full of problems all the time. Now can't top up my phone online anymore. Garbage soon be time to change company's.
I rate this app garbage virgin mobile has become the worst phone carrier to much for phone bill crappy customer service now this app sucks just as bad thank you virgin for sucking

The only way to contact VM is to call? Who calls these days? The set-up done inside a mall had no wifi so 200+ mbs was done on my plan BY VIRGIN STAFF. I get to pay for it because they have a crappy concrete mall location. This was a new phone but auto updates had to be downloaded and the staff did it. I never once went over my data before. Also, the new phone is not an "upgrade" as I was told. Go elsewhere. Virgin still sneaks in those extra charges. To dispute them? Wait on a phone for ages or give up and pay. For shame. Enjoy the one star. If I could give negative stars I would.
I have canceled my aggreement and the company is still cutting payments from my credit acc.. worst experience evr...
The site crashes before it even opens. I use to use it often but now...it's always crashing.

My account keeps stopping. Thats the error that appears when ever i try and open the app. Using a nexus 6p
The service behind it is garbage. After weeks of getting excuses, no responses, and the runaround, I switched to Freedom Mobile.
App does not even load. When tap on icon, it suddenly closes down
Last changes broke the app completely. The roaming usage (data, minutes, text and events) is completely off from what's reported on the website. Furthermore, I must have suggested at least 3-4 time already: why do you keep reporting the usage data in GB when it would make much more sense to see it in MB. What's giving you more details 0.26GB or 260MB (or 261/262/263, etc.)...unless of course, you do this on purpose! Do you? Well, anyways you need to figure out and fix this mess first, then take it from there and make it better. This app almost looks like the most difficult thing in the world: it never works properly and any attemp to fix it makes it worse...Hire some pros, enough of this!

Just go with telus they give u phony data and I have already lost so much money on them
really useful utility. it tells you about your plan your account numbers and current usage. the interface is efficient and nice. you can get your monthly bills easily and loads quickly 5 stars

User interface improvements highly appreciated! Wasn't the best app at first, but I can almost completely manage my account from it now on mobile or wifi. The new bottom nav was needed and finally makes navigation to the most used sections very easy. Bravo for doing incremental changes instead of just redesigning the whole interface.
