About Light Ops (for TCP Lighting)

Light Ops is an alternative way to control your home lights when using the product "Connected by TCP lighting gateway . (http://www.tcpi.com/connected-by-tcp-products).

Light Ops requires a TCP product installation as well as the use of the TCP Lighting app to setup the smart scenes and rooms. You can connect locally via WIFI or to the cloud for remote access. For cloud access, you need to enable remote access in the TCP Lighting app and then use this username and password to connect with Light Ops.

This app can control your lights in a different way than the official app, providing a faster interface and the ability to write NFC tags to trigger light on/off actions or smart scene actions..

Tested with NFC tags from whiztags (NDEF minimum 137 byte tags)

Note: This app is not associated with Connected by TCP Gateway product. The purpose is to provide additional features, such as using NFC to control your lights.

Amazing app- are there any plans for ifttt or Google home or echo support please?

Y70%

Much better than TCP app lights turn on instantly. After updating to Nougat TCP app takes forever to connect and misses most of the lights.

C70%
by C####:

Thanks for the app. Is there a way to send "intents" to this app from Tasker? Thanks.

I didnt even know the lights were capable of being instant on based on the manufacturer's app being so damned slow to activate them. This app puts the original app to shame. Great work.

X70%
by X####:

Lights pretty instantaneous but you must turn individual lights on and off there is no way to turn a whole room off at once with multiple lights in it. Which is a bummer otherwise excellent.

Can't get it to work just says network error getting token at network login

X70%
by X####:

Amazing app replacement for the laggy tcp one. Any chance the developer is going to make a wear app to go with it? I'd gladly buy that!

X70%

Tcpi app doesn't work any more since firmware update..at least this app you can specify the ip of the gateway

Do I need certain light bulbs that need to be functioned with this app?

Z70%

Much better than the manufacturers app only thing missing for me is Widgets other then that great app

U70%
by U####:

Loads faster and performs tasks faster. Didn't realize tapping the name of the bulb was how the user controlled the dim settings. Could maybe use a small tutorial or guide in the app. Would like to see Tasker intigration.

Great alternative to TCP app; quick, stable, NFC etc.

F70%

Do you think you can make a widget? I can then get off the OEM app completely. Otherwise, top notch!

Do I need certain light bulbs that need to be functioned with this app?

H70%
by H####:

Fast & no annoying start-up screen or Lag. Local mode executes tasks instantly. Even cloud function is faster than the TCP-App. Suggestions: allow the app to start in the lights tab & maybe have the buttons color change to indicate state. Yellow=On/Off

S70%
by S####:

Loads faster and performs tasks faster. Just needs to be able to be managed through Tasker now. Didn't realize tapping the name of the bulb was how to dim. Could maybe use a small tutorial or guide in the app.

Z70%

How about a widget for individual lights touch widget it turns on touch widget again it goes off
