Aumi for Android
The app addresses all the requirements anyone might need for nightly use. Timers, color choices for motion detection, initial color brightness and brightness upon detection. Just excellent. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for the best night light. Absolutely classy and sleek. Doesn't stand out like those cheap home depot lights. I'm going to get one in black too.
Could not connect to aumi after first few times. Ugly and bare bones app, slow to connect when it did work. No integration with third parties like smart things. App looked funny on my high resolution device (s8+) - the UI didn't scale great.
App crashes and does not remember settings that have been changed. Also when renaming the connected devices if you scan for new devices or exit the app the names get jumbled up with missing and added characters. Overall it's a very buggy app and needs a lot of work.
Aumi doesn't connect from the app. But in settings it does get recognised.... When I try pair directly via Bluetooth aumi rejects pairing. When I try finding via app it doesn't even recognise aumi. Tried multiple times. It doesn't work. Frustrating....
Many of mentioned problems are consistent. They really need to address the settings resetting, names changing after you set them, not always able to connect to the light themselves and the app crashes when attempting to change settings. Not sure how they didn't run into these problems, however, when the settings do work the lights work like a charm, just don't expect your settings to last.
Horrible experience... App connected a few times and never again. I've tried hard resetting the light, uninstalled & reinstalled the app, restarted my phone and still can't get my light to connect. App is almost a year old according to the "last updated" date. Basically own an expensive dumb light now. Too busy trying to push out new products instead of fixing what you have now!
I'm not sure why all there are so many low ratings. Sure, the app isn't the most well designed, is rather basic and limited in the functionality, and can be a bit buggy at times. But this is a small Kickstarted app. It needs to start somewhere. At the end of the day though, you can set and configure the Aumi night light, which is all it needs to do.
They obviously spent allof their efforts on the light and nothing on the app. Lots of problems with this app, but the biggest problem is when 2 lights are linked, the first light becomes inaccessible. I can see the light name, but clicking the name doesn't open the menu for that light.
Using Sony Xperia F5122(Android 7.1.1). Bluetooth ON & scan but no device shows up. Very disappointed.
App crashes when motion detection without advanced settings. No ability to sync multiple lights. No daylight sensor? Not super impressed given the funding
It doesn't work can even paired the device. I finally got it to pair still having problems keeps crashing when you hit the motion detection button only one phone can pair to the light can't even unpair not rcommended
A few small lags, like when changing color, but overall works on my Samsung s8
It just won't connect to my Aumi Original, I've tried numerous times and have restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no avail
Can't connect at all. I've tried a dozen times. Nothing. Totally not what I expected and waited for when I bought via indiegogo.
Poor app. Difficult to connect. Always says no Aumi detected.
Just got it today, downloaded the app and worked first try. Pretty easy to setup.
Lots of bugs.. Half baked
doesn't connect, didn't work at all
Add on/off timer for motion. All new night light have daytime sensor. This is so cheap!
Does not connect on Moto Z Force Droid
Aumi doesn't connect to pixel.
Last updated October 26 2016. Really?
Make sure Bluetooth on your phone is on
Unable to rename Aumi
Bugs need fixing for connecting
While waiting on my Aumi', I downlaoded the app to play with it. These are the issues i have found. Missing drag on intensity. Colors selection is a little glitchy. Itll sometimes jump to the dark shade of color instead of the bright color selected.
Love it

I have a 5 pack, and connection is very slow and variable. Daylight sensor would have been nice, but I guess I can work around that with timers. The units are nice, high quality, but the app needs work. Not quite worth what was paid for. So, now I'm a week into life with these. Glad I could finally connect to them all because now I can't get the app to connect to them again. I hope I'm happy with the settings I used because I'm not sure I'll ever be able to change them. Moving my rating from 2 to 1 star. This needs to improve. Feeling like I didn't get what I paid for.
