Canadian Armed Forces for Android
Needs to install references, ie principles of war, leadership, and quick references like mosid, battle procedures etc
Needs more work but it's good as a start.
Would be neat to have a forum option here..and if possible someway to verify security and option to talk about equipment or current events
A great app, easy to navigate, and very informative. Well done!
All of the corporate messaging, public affairs products, and social media streams I ignore are finally available in one place! The advertised resources are an afterthought, just a collection of links that were already easily accessed using the magic of Google. As an app it is stable and easy to navigate, although for what purpose anyone would I cannot divine. If literally any money was spent developing this, that money was spent in vain.
This is a great tool and has potential to do a lot of good things. It would be outstanding if a program like EMAA was available for people to access their T4s and set personal information like posting preferences and such at the tip of their fingers.
Please add dress regs, mil writing guide, etc... something that we can use for a quick ref while away from resources at work.
Need all the instruction manual added, forms, canforgen.. etc lets make this a one stop shop.
Finally a CAF app, for me to get all the resources and social media feed in one convenient location
Does everything it advertised for and works fast. Well done for our first app!
Works pretty well for what's advertised. Might be good to have some aide de memories on there.
Does everything as advertised.
Members who already follow CAF Facebook or other social media will find little or no additional functionality. IMHO, Wasn't worth the extra clutter on the home screen or the storage space.
Nothing special. No insight for insiders. It's better suited for public consumption of the CAF.

Locked into portrait mode: fail. Must go to the social sites to read photo captions: fail. Not responding to comments in the app store: social fail. Would be a nice nostalgic touch to have the CANFORGENs inTTY font ;) Maybe in the next sprint.
