GRT easyGO

(EDIT: it's now clear what's real-time and what's scheduled. Good work!) As a frequent GRT user, this will be a very useful app for me. However, it's confusing at first as to what times are based on real-time data. I have figured out now that when you first tap Near Me you're seeing times based on the schedule, and if you tap on a specific route you're seeing times based on real-time data. However, this isn't stated on any of the screens and that makes it confusing.

Not accurate, busses having delays don't show. It keeps saying ets 4 mins for over 20 mins and makes u stay put in hopes of the bus showing up. I missed two other busses (8) thinking that the other (12) is coming. Terrible. I hope they get actual real time feedback not a very very bad estimate !!!!

It freezes every time it's used. It does not open map, news, detours or near me. I can't even find this "real time" thing everybody else is complaing about??? Couldn't even open settings to write this review! It looks pretty though and the concept is great! Just wish it worked!

Please develop a feature that allows you to add a stop as a favourite even when there is no service. Other suggestions include access to a fixed schedule for a stop as well as searching for stops using the name, not just number.

Worst app ever. Miss so many god damn buses cuz the times are so off. Whats the f****g point if the times arent accurate. F****you

So... sometimes it'll tell you a bus stops at a location that it actually doesn't. For example: stop # 2562 only services the 7 but the app says that the 1 and 8 use it as well.

Doesn't even work past the logo. All I get is a blank screen.

Would be better if you could view all of the upcoming buses for the day, instead of just the next two. I like to be able to plane more than an hour in advance.

Half the time the app never works. The buses showing up on time is more reliable than this app, which says a lot.

It is often slow. Sometimes does not open at all, have to restart app, in order for it to work. It does not load "my favourites". So disappointing when you have to rely on the GRT for transportation, when the trip does not work from the app or website!!!

Not reliable, poor / buggy interface, doesn't use GPS well at all... you're better off using Google maps

Nothing opens.... I get the main screen, but freezes any time I click "map" or "near me", Even "settings" I know it's summer, but not cool

Does not update times properly

"Next bus" feature works well for me. I haven't excited the rest of the app to much

It's a good app but initially very difficult to use.

So not only did Grand River Transit decide to be the ONLY transit authority in the GTA that doesn't use Presto but they've also decided not to share route/schedule information with Google, Metrolinx or NextBus!!! So I've got to use a different payment method and different app to plan my trip. What the hell!? Are the town planners aware that there are other communities in Southern Ontario besides K-W/Cambridge?

This is a great app in theory if it worked. Only problem is it doesn't. With all the LRT construction in kitchener this app frequently miss quotes the time remaining for busses or skips to the next one when your current bus is still on its way. My favorites list has also stopped displaying even though the individual stops still show when I search them manually (and still indicate they have been selected as favorites) Fix your bugs and you'll get a 5 star from me.

Horribly slow on both mobile data and wifi. App stops working if you try to leave a real-time location map. Use gdmalet's Grand River Transit app instead; it's very fast and works without being online (scheds are stored on your device).

This app is largely inaccurate with schedules and will often display a bus arriving in x amount of minutes for nothing to arrive. Difficult to navigate, poorly designed, you're better off using google maps. Kind of fitting though. A garbage transit app to beautifully reflect the mess that is GRT transit.

One of the worst performing official transit apps I have had the displeasure of using. Do you like to switch between stops? Nah, you have to kill the app and reselect it. Crashes at basically every screen and it's about as reliable as Punxsutawney Phil. Walk out, do you see your shadow? Maybe the GRT bus will just skip your stop for no reason

this is funny XD the update bragged faster launching times, but i think the app is slower than ever XD also now it cannot find any bus stops whatsoever XD please fix

I use this app everyday but for the past two days it's not loading I removed it so maybe it would work but no luck hope it's gets fixed asap thanks !!!

This app takes forever to load, crashes frequently, and the timing is hilariously inaccurate, even without construction delays.

I have no problems with this app at all. It's quick and easy to use, times are always correct and updated if delays occur☆NO COMPLAINTS ☆

When using my tablet at home it will not get my location or put in the address of where I am going

Doesn't work for periods at a time. Now all my favourites have been deleted. Unreliable!!!
