This app is good for what it does but since I installed it it drain my battery in half a day that's is not right ☹️

After last update on April 10 extremely drain the battery and can not remove from the notification panel

Using it with the free water detector desjardins gives away. Tested it and work like a charm! Put the water detector on a damp cloth, and got a text message and an email within seconds. It even shows on your phone temperature and humidity from where the water detector is. I would have expected to pay a 100$ for this, but it was free! So cool! Way better than my two other non-wi-fi water detectors. Props to desjardins for this, very good idea, thank you so much!

I would prefer a device that plugs directly into my OBD2 port in my vehicle, like other insurance companies use. I feel it is more accurate and does not require me to constantly ensure I was not set as the driver for every trip I take in a cab or bus or other vehicle.

L70%
by L####:

Ok app, but phone battery drain is unreal. Uses 20% of my battery per day with only 2 30 min rides. Fix please! Samsung S7

Z70%
by Z####:

Down to 2 stars and here is why. We live in Canada, even worst in Quebec. The roads here are ridiculous and seems like app sees that as a distraction. Any module you plug in or app you use to rate your driving style is, well not accurate. Let me explain. I got a warning that I was distracted while driving. Well, I wasn't. If I was, I would not have swerved to miss the idiot that came out of his lane way without looking. So, that is being attentive and not distracted. HUGE DIFFERENCE. The app also states a few times that I use my phone while driving. FALSE. I don't use my phone while driving, not even at red lights. Again, that should be reworked. I know every phone manufacturers may have calibrated their devices differently as between my Google Pixel and my wife's Nexus 6P, we get 2 different readings for the same drive. (we car pool) I may decide to just cancel this all together. Yeah it won't increase your insurance premium but it needs to be a bit more lenient. Finally, the app will randomly crash on both devices and it's a battery hog.

Good app, when it wants to work. Can't tell you how many times I've wanted to use this app only to have it fail to load or some other BS

I70%

The battery drain is awful ! Even had a battery warning from my phone ! Never seen that before ...

This app is completely unusable. Lags and crashes consistently. I praised this app before. But now it has to upload and download consistently, it makes it useless. Change the app the way it was before.

T70%
by T####:

Old version worked great. Updated version is so laggy, definitely a step down. Using a Samsung S7 for reference.

Z70%
by Z####:

Was great before but new update is so laggy, not usable any longer.

I70%
by I####:

It says it uses Google info to calculate your driving. But it's using 10-20%of my battery. Google doesn't use that much with Google fit. Not sure why this app is reducing battery life by about 2+ hours for the day. My phone would last all day and even until the next morning but now it's done at 8 or 9pm. On top of that it says I accelerate to fast and corner to fast. With a hybrid car I'm pretty fuel conservative. Very disappointed in the app.

H70%
by H####:

I use it everyday and have to say its pretty accurate. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I'm currently at a 90% overall score which they say its a 22% discount. HOWEVER, this app is the third biggest consumer of battery power in my phone, behind "Android System" and "Android OS". Desjardins seriously needs to get this right.

C70%
by C####:

I like that it tracks driving habits to give one a break on auto insurance however I am not happy that the app gives you a poor rating for driving at "risky" times of the day like morning and late afternoon. These are the times I commute to work and I can't help that. I drive carefully and below the speed limit yet are rated in The 70s due to time of day traveled. Not very fair!

G70%
by G####:

Since I've installed this version, I've had a problem with hard cornering advises.

D70%
by D####:

I had issues with hard cornering. Until I realized placement of the device played a HUGE difference. I tried it both on my centre console, and while in my left pocket while driving. After a while, I have noticed that leaving it on the centre console made my rating stay in the 90+. And while in my pocket (especially in a manual car) it was in the mid 80s. So yeah.... Placement is a huge factor.

Q70%
by Q####:

It keeps alerting me to turn on my location and theres no way to turn that off and I can't exit or turn the app off. Theres a permanent "telematics in action" reminder along with the gps locator must be on and please turn location on remonders constantly going off. I'm not living in and driving my car 24/7.

J70%
by J####:

Not only is it a huge battery drain, but it's way too sensitive. Starting from a stop while going uphill in a manual shouldn't count as fast acceleration. Plus many other issues.

X70%
by X####:

I liked the original version two many medals bow.

Q70%
by Q####:

The idea is good however real life driving is not black and white. For example speed limits. I live in montreal and the stretch of highway 20 where it says 70km/h max speed. Well no one respects that, if i were to drive 70 on that stretch i will become a hazard myself. 30km/h school zone, guess again no one is driving at that speed either. It is little things like this that will end up penalizing you for no fault of your own.

No matter how you drive it says hard cornering and hard braking

U70%
by U####:

If someone else touches your phone while driving it counts as "distracted driving"... why

L70%
by L####:

Doesn't take into account defensive driving. There have been a few times where I lost marks for having to slam the brakes when someone nearly veered into me ect. If anything being able to maneuver without an accident should gain marks. I understand this would be hard to input, but you should be able to click on the hard breaking icon and select defensive driving. Also if a passenger checks my phone for me for directions ect. I get dinged for distracted driving which sucks.

Q70%
by Q####:

Reads as "excessive acceleration" on the on ramp of a highway. Also uses way too much battery power on the phone. It's the number one battery hog on my phone.

Registered one trip and then stopped working and constantly said it was on a trip even the next day.

K70%

It stopped working after I got my "Superstar Apprentice" achievement. I liked it better when it was simply tracking and assessing my trips. It's not a game that I need to earn achievements. I hope they simplify it back.

Q70%

It won't track my trips which is ironically funny because that's what it is supposed to do

It's not perfect, but how could it be?

K70%

K70%
by K####:

Good idea but the app is a battery hog. I'm not a regular driver. I wish it could be something that doesn't always have to be running in the background.

G70%
by G####:
