About Carrier Label
Displays the carrier name as an ongoing notification when no data connection exists.
Aimed at JellyBean (Android 4.1+ Users).

Permission Usage: android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE - used to listen for data connection changes.
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED - used for starting the app when the device starts

Can you make a root app that can show the carrier name instead? And also allows to set custom carrier text? EDIT: Yes, but since I'm on 5.1.1, many modules don't work, for ex, xblast tools doesn't work and then flat style statusbar is buggy, there are no other modules that can show the carrier label
